You can also work your body by carrying a basket instead of pushing a cart, using the stairs whenever possible, and
sitting on an exercise ball instead of a chair.
Of the equipment studied, performing a
crunch on an exercise ball and a using a vertical knee raise machine showed the most muscle activation.
For lower chest, the process is exactly the same but this time, you're putting your
feet on an exercise ball instead on a flat bench.

Try elevating your legs
on an exercise ball for a few minutes, two to three times per day or at least for 10 to 15 minutes at the end of your day.

One of my favorite tricks for helping babies love tummy time is to get them tummy -
down on an exercise ball, which allows you to adjust how «flat» they are and then make it easier or harder.
Things that help: keeping knees together as much as possible such as getting in and out of bed or trying to avoid stepping to the side, a hot rice sock on your privates, chiropractic care, massage, resting as much as possible, sitting
on an exercise ball helps for some and for others make sit worse so experiment.
You may learn some of these moves in your Baby and Me exercise class, but the movements of bouncing
together on the exercise ball will actually help the digestion and gas expulsion your baby so direly needs.
While crunches
on an exercise ball generated less muscle activity than the bicycle maneuver or captain's chair it's worth noting that this exercise produced less activation in the rectus femoris, means less hip flexor activity.
The benefits of bouncing
on an exercise ball include improved coordination, balance, core isolation and the ability to work hard to get to stabilizer muscles.
It's not something that's immediately obvious (you'll NEVER see it any magazines) but it can mean the difference between success and just flailing
around on an exercise ball.
I also did a lot of squats and bounced
on an exercise ball whenever I was sitting at home, and both of those things helped my lower back / hips / tailbone.
