Our Sunday suppers have been an excellent exercise
in preparing quick cooking, easy - to - execute
appetizers that offer everyone a little something to nibble
on while they have a drink before the big meal.
FlipSide Burger is a small Ohio chain (only five restaurants; four are
in the Cleveland area) that's trying to be a somewhat upscale casual eatery that offers interesting takes
on traditional pub grub (burgers, salads,
appetizers, sandwiches) and a fair selection of adult beverages.
You can also make this refreshing
appetizer (or call it a soup if you'd like)
in advance, up to 8 hours before you plan
on serving it.

in my house, but if you plan
on sharing this as an
appetizer you better have a game plan.
When the chicken tenders are fried to a golden brown they are gently tossed
in the honey - chipotle sauce and served either as an
appetizer, or with corn
on the cob and French fries as an entree.
Olive Garden's delicious take
on the
appetizer can be cloned with ease using one of several varieties of pre-made raviolis carried
in just about any supermarket.
Use it for sandwiches,
in wraps,
on top of salads, as a dip for crackers, or spooned into endive leaves as an
appetizer, as I've done here.

Remembering that I had some leftover chutney - topped vegan brie
in the fridge (the brie is from a recipe
on p. 30 of my new Blooming Platter cookbook), and that one of my favorite all - time
appetizers is fresh figs stuffed with vegan brie and a smoked almond, I decided to make a tart that combined all those flavors.

One of my favorite covered dishes (or party
appetizer, depending
on which part of the country you live
in) to serve, especially this time of year is deviled eggs.
It's a tradition
in my household to make
appetizers for Dinner
on Christmas Eve.
Dairy & Culinary achieved volume growth
in the foodservice sector due to menu extension capitalizing
on appetizer and snacking trends.
Use this versatile blend to give
appetizers and soups complexity; great
on crostini,
in dumplings, quiches, and spring rolls.
I won't always stick to the breakfast / lunch / dinner format — I'll mix it up depending
on what I find, so expect to also find yummy ideas for snacks,
appetizers, desserts, sweet treats etc
in future editions.
