The selection of veggies varies a little depending
on what I have in my fridge but it usually centres
on these four — kale, carrots, red pepper and
avocado plus my new hummus, which I am so in love with, and a sprinkling of pumpkin
seeds.
I buy the large plain ones and put mashed
avocado or peanut butter with pumpkin
seeds and honey
on top as a snack... just a thought Good luck to you!
Virgin coconut oil is
on high rotation in my kitchen, so I'm covered there, but I've recently been adding more variety to my fats by mindfully incorporating things like
avocado, flax / other
seeds and nuts, and ghee into everyday meals.
As much as I love to eat seasonally, there are definitely some staples that I have
on hand no matter what time of year: whole sesame tahini,
avocados, broccoli, spinach, chia
seeds, coconut oil, lemons, sweet potatoes, fresh herbs.
I've yet to find one that comes close to «normal» bread but some of the almond or
seeded recipes I've tried make a very acceptable base to put mashed
avocado or nut butter
on.
Though they make everything from wonderful dressings, protein powders, to nut /
seed bars, today I want to focus
on my absolutely favorite product in their line: the (I'm going to say FAMOUS)
avocado oil mayo.
Chia and hemp
seed (used in their whole / unground form) are also excellent sources of fiber that can be added in a similar fashion (hemp
seed also works well sprinkled
on salads and
avocado toast, bringing a mild nutty flavor and pleasant texture) and chia is yummy in slurry and pudding form.

I avoid processed fats, like margarine or canola oil, but whole fats from olives,
avocados, coconuts,
seeds, nuts, and humanely raised animals (butter, lard, suet, schmaltz) are a necessary part of the diet, and lead to feeling full in ways that allow people to cut down
on sugar (which is less healthy, as you say).
On my days off I'll make the fancy
avocado toast but this three
seed avocado toast is a staple in our house.
I have used a combination of coconut oil, grape
seed oil, olive oil,
avocado oil and purified water
on my face and it has looked better then it has in years.

avocados but am not confident enough in choosing ones that are ripe or will ripen at the right time for me — otherwise I would eat them more — am not aware of antipodean
avocado farms but the idea of fresh creamy avo
on toast sounds amazing — I think someone planted an
avocado seed in the soil at one of my student households and a plant grew but I don't think there was any fruit

on avocado shows that the greatest phytonutrient concentrations occur in portions of the food that we do not typically eat, namely, the peel and the
seed (or «pit.»)

The sauce was based off of my recipe for spaghetti with
avocado sauce, so if you'd prefer a sauce that's heavy
on the
avocado and doesn't rely
on seeds, give it a go.
This salad is ridiculously simple to make and is one of my favourite fall combinations: Pumpkin + pomegranate + toasted pecans +
avocado all sitting
on a bed of kale, and topped with a sprinkling of
seeds, warm tempeh and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette.
Serve over beetroot, bean sprouts, pumpkin, spiralized Zucchini (courgette) and peas in a homemade basil dressing, red kidney beans with tomato and onion, yellow capsicums (bell peppers)

Healthy snacks: Energy truffles, Nana ice cream, Energy bars, Kale and hot pepper grilled cheese sandwich, Energizing smoothie,
Avocado and eggs
on flatbread, Lemon coconut bites, Dark chocolate pomegranate
seed bites, Sesame squares, Ricotta and cucumber toasts.
Ingredients: 2 mini pizza crusts, 6 - inch size 2 tsp olive oil 4 tbsp tomato sauce 1 1/2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese 1 fresh California
avocado, medium size,
seeded and peeled 3 slices thick cut smoked applewood bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled 1 plum tomato, sliced thinly crosswise a few thin slices of red onion Instructions: Heat grill
on medium.
