My OB just put
me on bedrest for a while so I could definitely use a new book to keep me occupied.
When we added to our family with our second child, I had a difficult pregnancy that put
me on bedrest for awhile — reducing my income temporarily and making it difficult to keep up with the school loan payments (again).
She was rushed to the hospital and kept
on bedrest for weeks and weeks, hoping to save her little girl.

The release of oxytocin is only a concern if you're at risk
for early labor and your doctor or midwife has put you
on strict
bedrest, with no lovemaking or breast play allowed.
This was no small task considering at 27 weeks I was put
on strict
bedrest and remained there

I am pregnant with twins so I'm more in the taking advice than giving role... but
