cashew butter), not sifting the raw cacao or over-mixing in the Magimix — any thoughts
on this would be appreciated (although this may be better directed
at Madeleine as the recipe originated from her.)

Imagine my surprise when
at a food event this April I stumbled upon
cashew cheese.The unique aspect about the Beyond Better ® product I picked up is that it is the only dried version
on the market, making it a simple option to pack with you that requires only water for reconstitution.

at Whole Foods this week) so I'm toooootally going to make these.

cashew milk in my coffees in the morning almost always ask me about it, then, I can elaborate how much I love it, how it's lower in calories compared to milk and cream, how it's healthier for you, and the list goes
on.
Cover
cashews with water and set aside,
on the counter, covered, for

cashew nuts, tapioca flour, salt and baking powder together until combined 4) In another bowl, mix the honey, vanilla extract and egg together until all ingredients are well incorporated 5) Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well until you get a homogeneous batter 6) Gently stir in 1 cup of fresh blueberries until evenly distributed 7) Pour the batter into the baking pan or cast iron pan, and evenly distribute the rest of the blueberries
on top 8) Bake for around 30 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean) 9) Let the scones cool for
at least 10 minutes before slicing into 8 portions.
While the curry is simmering toast the
cashews at 300F
on a cookie sheet for about 5 minutes, watching carefully so that they do not burn.

Cashew Cheese Sauce 1/2 cup raw
cashews, soaked for
at least 2 hours3 tbsp nutritional yeast2 tbsp lemon juice (about 1/2 a lemon) 2 cloves of garlic1 / 2 cup water1 tsp salt1 tbsp miso paste Nachos a TON of tortilla chips4 stalks of kale, washed and roughly chopped1 yellow bell pepper, dicedapproximately 1/2 cup Kim Chi, add more or less to taste (I am obsessed with Alchemy Pickle Company's Bok Choy Kim Chi) Notes To prepare cheese sauce, drain the water from the soaking
cashews and add the
cashews to a blender.
I haven't really caught
on to the
cashew milk thing, though I've been tempted to pick up a carton
at the supermarket.
Give this recipe a try and you'll be sold
on using
cashews,
at least as a dairy substitute for cheesecake type recipes.
A few weeks ago I posted my latest recipe fail
on Facebook — I was trying to recreate the blueberry vanilla
cashew Kind bars that I love (and that you can no longer get
at Starbucks — wahhhh!).
Alternatively, if you want to create an entirely raw pad thai, soaked these
cashews for 2 - 4 hours, then either place in a dehydrator
at 46ºC for 2 days or in the oven
on the lowest setting with the door slightly ajar.
Put the
cashews on to soak for the aioli by placing in a bowl, covering with water and leave to stand
