childbirth preparation series is held
on Tuesdays from 12 - 1 pm and also includes the regularly scheduled Thursday prenatal yoga class taught by Jill from 12 - 1 pm.
From my own experience, I wouldn't recommend the general classes offered by some hospitals as the only
childbirth preparation classes as they are often very general and cater to the majority of women who don't plan
on natural labor.
Not only does yoga promote stretching and flexibility, which are invaluable assets for a vaginal birth, its emphasis
on working with the breath is a natural complement to many
childbirth preparation methods.
