ebooks intended to trick
buyers into purchasing the wrong product.
Many self - published authors rely
on online sales of both print books and
ebooks though, so, okay, a badly designed book might not necessarily put off all prospective
buyers.
By high pricing
on ebooks, they are losing some impulse and cost conscience
buyers, but by lower pricing they would likely be driving people who would normally buy the more expensive hardcover over to the
ebook market, and not just for the book in question but for future purchases as well.

I fully expected more people to borrow these than to buy them (I honestly wanted

ebook, as that would be a better deal for them and for me, too, since I could get the 70 % split
on that).
The effect
on conventional publishing with the advent of
ebooks had directly effected this segment of the market, and many times with competition, the
buyer will actually get more choices, and most times a better product.
Once we have publishers
on - board that offer
ebooks in whatever local language we are going after, we go where the book
buyers are.

There are many people who do no read
ebooks (and many book
buyers LOATH to buy books by self publish authors for distribution) even with her success the B&M s were not buying her books wholesale, a fact clearly not lost
on her.
The argument is that ever since digital books became mainstream,
buyers are having to choose between a print copy or a digital copy, between a physical copy to coo over

ebook readers to choose from, based
on our needs and personal preferences.
