After three weeks of travel, it took me all week to unpack and catch up
on everything at home so I am welcoming a relaxing weekend!

One of a number of reasons I stayed out of my business offices and worked
at home as much as possible was because when I went to the office, I was «drawn» to listen in
on, interfere with or critique every phone call, look
at every fax, poke my nose all the way into
everything — to the extent that I ruined everybody else's productivity as well as my own.
And what about the millions of millennials who grew up with video games
on everything from school computers to cell phones to game consoles
at home?
Blindingly fast chips, flexible displays, nanotube cooling, and more: Tomorrow's technologies will change
everything about computing, whether you're
at home,
at work, or
on the road.
Another trend
at CES was the Internet of Things (IoT), which centers
on a world in which
everything from toasters to
home thermostats is connected to the internet.
So I just decided to start doing a couple of these restaurant challenges, and I started doing challenges
at home, and started recording
everything and posting things
on YouTube, and that's how I got recognized.
And when there is trouble
at home, like Hurricane Sandy or the Sandy Hook shooting, almost
everything else gets thrown out or squeezed into the back print pages or the leftover broadcast minutes to make space for information
on the crisis
at hand.
I would not have been cowardly enough to stay
at home, neither would I have laid down or sauntered along the way, nor have forgotten the knife, so that there might be a little delay — I am pretty well convinced that I would have been there
on the stroke of the clock and would have had
everything in order, perhaps I would have arrived too early in order to get through with it sooner.
Without God, we are torn in two directions: universities praise diversity, but students still form cliques; politicians promise a bright future, but all our news programs are distressing; people are obsessed with scientific explanations of
everything, and equally obsessed with sentimental love in every pop song; sexual abuse with a minor is the most shameful of all crimes, but everyone has a right to complete sexual liberation once they reach the age of consent; we relocate all over the world, preferring to live anywhere but
home, yet we still agonize over our local sports team; we own many things, and still feel like we don't have enough; we believe in discipline
at school or
at work, but we all have a right to «let ourselves go»
on the weekend; we tolerate
everything, except people that don't agree with us.
Stopped by the gourmet grocery store
on the way
home, picked up
everything I didn't have
at home (sans the pearl onions) and made this sucker last night.

on Instagram or Facebook you would have seen that we're moving currently, but that's the pointy end of 6 - months since we moved out of our old apartment in the end of May, stuffed
everything into storage, and fled the country (haha).
I was thinking of browning the sausage / caramelize the onions

at least 30 minutes in the city because you can't leave them
at home because they eat the furniture... leave the dogs in the car HOPING that you walked them enough so they don't eat the car.
