The idea is to take pictures you like from magazines or that you print off the web and put them in a collage
on a poster
board or
foam core board.
Once you've mastered standing
on 1 leg and basic exercises such as the 1 legged squat, you can further challenge your balance by using a wobble
board,
core board, bosu ball,
foam pad, or any other unstable surface.
I wouldn't do this directly
on my wall, but you could attach everything to a
board or piece of
foam core from the dollar store and hang it or lean it above your mantel.
Those computer copies were then mounted
on a large piece of
foam core board.
Mathew recommended painting a large sample
on a piece of poster
board or
foam core and moving it around the room, seeing how it looks in the darkest corner and the brightest spot.
To get the look / colors I wanted, I simply tested first
on pieces of thick,
foam -
core poster
board until it looked as I visualized.
For artwork
on a dime, paint an old wooden picture frame, cut mat or
foam -
core board to fit the opening, and cover the
board with a scrap of pretty fabric.
