now when the nextbox and ps4 come out we will be relying
on devs who want to work
on the wiiU for third party
games, as the hardware seems like it's going to be lightyears apart which
devs will want to down grade their
game to support a console most of them don't like working with to start off with.

Ironically enough as haters and trolls say «Nintendo consoles are not for 3rd bleh party
games bleh bleh bleh» «Third party
games don't sell
on Nintendo systems» «no wonder
devs don't make
games on Nintendo systems because they don't sell» «Nintendodrones only buy Nintendo
games», «R.I.P. PEEU», «NINTENDO IS DOOMED» and more of that nonsense, yet a third party
game becomes available and it more then doubles the system sales.

I think these
devs are more so picking
games that acted as huge influences
on them getting into
game development, or
games that influenced their own design philosophies (hell you could even argue that with Kojima and Pokemon, Peace Walker and MGSV both had you «capturing» enemy soldiers to make them a part of your «team»).

games are created, crafted, designed, coded, scripted and entirely build
on pc and then PORTED to console even console exculsives are made
on a gaming rig, then shrunk down to work
on consoles, thats why
devs always have those nice screenshots to show you months before release and then the
game comes out
on console and looks nothing like the up - rezzed, highly anti aliasied screens of the pc shots they showed that is why, when there is a pc version, it is always far superior sleeping dogs and hitman absolution are perfect examples, the pc versions look two generations beyond the console versions

devs take the easy way out and make the
game on the 360 or PC first and then just do a quick port of it to PS3 and it comes out like junk.
If they are complaining about people abusing the system with their
games just imagine the higher stakes involved with AAA titles that depended heavily
on pre-orders - a day before launch a AAA
game dev / publisher would boast the millions of pre-orders they received, the next morning could see millions of refunds thanks to a
game - breaking, buggy launch.
I think most indie
devs who can't afford losing sales
on their small length
games are probably going to stick to BUNDLES as we see around, so the refund police doesn't go around.
Pirate Pop Plus is available
on Wii U and 3DS, but the
dev behind the
game would love to bring it to another platform... the Game
game would love to bring it to another platform... the
