But as someone who is
on the ground there, what is the situation actually
like, beyond the
headlines?
How does a ridiculous
headline like this even get
on the front page of cnn.com?
In her trailblazing She Who Is (1992), the title boldly confronting the reader
like a 100 - point
headline on the front page of a newspaper, Johnson identified the death of patriarchy's God emphatically.
The picture of that disgusting, pathetic, utterly gross fat woman (see the picture
on the
headline) reminded me of two things: one, she (and those
like her) are the reason health care is in crisis, and two, why should I, or my tax dollars, pay for her utterly bad judgement and complete lack of self respect?
You may have seen a
headline going around today about a pastor in Zimbabwe who was attempting to walk
on water just
like Jesus, and was eaten by a crocodile.
Not sure, but it appears nobody else noticed the really funny (for CNN)
headline... I
like headbanger music as much as the next person, but the pun
on Handel?
During the «Iranian hostage crisis» (note that even the

like a television series, drawing
on emotionally charged words) there were nightly special broadcasts, each of them bearing the portentous title «Day One, Day Two... Day Fifty - Seven,» as if we were marking the passage of one of the most significant events in history.

on motherhood — and the
