I may have to do some more holiday baking too since everything I made
on holiday baking extravaganza number 1 (with my sister Jenny) has mysteriously disappeared.
Once completely cooled, the loaf will remove more easily from the pan, and it can also be wrapped tightly in plastic wrap then foil and frozen for up to three months if you want to get a head start
on that holiday baking!

Instead of the usual Foodie Favorites today, I thought we'd mix it up with a seasonally appropriate round - up of my favorite treats for

on this here blog over the past few years.
This is
on my list for
holiday baking!
Once autumn and the
holidays pass, we often forget about the section of orange cans
on the
baking aisle shelf that is actually there year - round.
While
baking my
holiday cookies, the ones I
baked on these cracked
on the edges and got darker
on the bottom but weren't done
on top, however the ones I
baked on the silpat turned out perfectly.
I guess
baking cookies for Christmas is not a tradition popular in many countries, although just like Halloween, some
holidays get adopted by other cultures fast these days In my own culture,
baking cookies for Christmas is not a thing, we
bake a feta cheese phyllo pie for instance but I happily adopted this sweet tradition when I moved to the U.S., and especially when kids came
on board Happy
holidays!!
If I'm going to make
baked goods, sugar is sugar, and it seems a quality, sustainable, affordable product is best; however, I do use coconut sugar as a fancy topping sugar
on occasion (for a
holiday crumble for example).

This is my go - to breakfast
on holidays when you are going to slaving all day long cooking and
baking (and not to mention ALL those dishes!).
I woke at the crack o» dawn this morning to work
on all the recipes I promised to share and wouldn't you know it... the dropbox «thingy» (don't roll your eyes at me) didn't work right and my one hundred and something
holiday baking photos didn't upload to my computer.
Now, I realize most people focus their
holiday baking on Christmas cookies, candies and fudge... but I don't think you'll get complaints by adding peppermint cupcakes in the mix.

When I was jotting down my menu for Easter dinner, I realized that I have never posted the recipe here
on My
Baking Addiction, even though I pretty much make them for every single
holiday party.
Have you started your
holiday baking??? I've mainly focused
on holiday eating taste testing.
I borrowed this idea from Dominique Ansel's recipe in Food and Wine and used ingredients I already had
on hand from earlier
bakes of these Biscotti and Bakewell Mini Tarts — combining the best of both worlds into a very special
holiday cookie, indeed!
After lots of yummy, and well worth it in a homemade - coconut - cream - pie - kind - of - way,
holiday eating &
baking & giving, we're back
on a healthier eating track.
As much as I love
holiday baking and cookies (blame my Bavarian genes), I love your take
on those sweet treats.

I thought I would share 39 Festive Inspired Recipes To Get You Started

I have fond memories of

on.
