on Environment and Economy made the news this week with its report to the federal government

national meeting with provinces within 90 days of the Paris
climate conference in December to establish new

on national level, the letter calls for a
climate change act that uses binding
climate and energy
targets of the Energiewende as a framework for innovation.
If it turns out that fossil fuel emissions have peaked, this would spell good news for international
climate targets as it suggests countries are
on track to meet their
national commitments under the Paris Agreement (dashed line in the graph below).
