I have not had problems with formatting
on the nook, though there are the glaring input errors every so often.
The pages
on my nook never stick together.
I haven't bought a book on paper for two years, because all my long - form reading is now done on a Kindle (along with
some on a nook and a Sony Reader Digital Edition, for comparison).

I tried reading ebooks
on the nook since the kindle can't handle epub but i hate how the dictionary takes you out of the book and the screen response was kinda lackluster (it kept taking me to the options instead of going to the next page.)
Just need a basic basic step by step to get educated Been trying for hours to just get ezpdf

Even though it was originally loaded with 1.4.0, the factory reset did not revert back to that version rather just maintained the current version - 1.4.1 - that was
on the nook perior to the factory reset.

on the nook ST, it might go more like 40 - 60 hrs just because it wouldn't spend as much time sleeping before it runs through the battery from reading.

i've been shopping around for a reasonably priced e-reader for awhile and one thing i don't like about the nook tablet is that it's so closed off and i had read that the nook tablet has a locked bootloader that basically renders the card useless and i do nt want to waste 50 dollars on a card and 250
on the nook tablet.
But there is another option that doesn't require touching your default configuration; in fact, you don't install anything
on your NOOk Color.

BN is creating a very curated experience (like the nook UI) and as far as I've seen the apps that have come out of the nook appstore have been similar and in some cases superior to what exists elsewhere (one example is the evernote app, which looks remarkably different
on the nook than it does on my android phone, not sure if it looks the same on other tablets, but...).

I've got a terrible Kindle, but I've got the kindle for android program

By all accounts the screen on the xoom is better, it has a higher resolution by far, and having used a hacked version of Honeycomb based on an SDK,
on the nook color, I can tell you its not buggy at all.
every author i know, and i know over 500 all tell me they sell 10 books on amazon, 3
on nook 1 on kobo.
When i plug my nook into my PC the drive shows empty when i know its not for i have like 160 books
on my nook.

Conclusion: Overall the Kindle offers simple & convenience but is costlier.The kindle swipes away the crown with the everywhere 3G access and its large e-book store.You have to be a bit more tech - savvy in case of nook if you require extra.Buying and lending e-books
on the nook is just as easy as Kindle but kobo lacks this feature.
