I don't have any kids, I work full time, have my own place, a car, and love going
on random road trips.

But the thing about staycations is, they allow you to really live, and put responsibility aside when other things come up — things like invitations for patio drinks at 2pm / 4pm / 8 pm
on a beautiful summer day, a sporadic
trip to the park to sit and read a good book, sleeping in way later than necessary,
random backyard / living room yoga, or quick little
road trips to visit friends that you just don't see often enough.
Some
random things I love include the heated seats, the fact that there is a ceiling handle
on the drivers side (great for long
road trips), and the adjustable intermittent speeds for the windshield wipers.
It can keep a car full of people connected
on long
trips and, if you're
on the
road for business, it means you don't have to pull into a
random McDonald's to get some work done.
They should just take you
on a 6 month
road trip around the US, have you meet
random people from the internet who kill things at a swamp in the middle of the night...»
