I was planning
on roasting some carrots with dinner tonight.
This is a delicious spin
on roasted carrots.
Last night someone bought me a vegan takeaway (take - out), with Quinoa and Polenta cake,
on roasted carrot hummus with organic beet ketchup (delicious!)
Try it: anywhere you'd use pickled onion, such as in grain bowls,
on roasted carrots, or on a cheese sandwich.
Serve immediately
on roasted carrots or store in the fridge for up to a day.

Not exact matches
With the
roasted carrot hummus, you also need to pre-heat the oven to 180C, then cut the
carrots into sticks and
roast them
on a baking tray with olive oil, salt and pepper for about 45 minutes so that they're really tender.
I love these different bowl lunches you crete — the Mexican one in your book, the other one with
roasted kale one with grated
carrot and black beans
on the site, and now this.
This recipe can be easily customized with vegetables you have
on hand like spinach, green peas, steamed or
roasted cauliflower and broccoli,
carrots, and sautéed zucchini and yellow squash.
Set the
roast in the center of the slow cooker
on top of the bed of
carrots.
Typically, I only like my root vegetables mashed or
roasted, however, the glazed
carrots started to grow
on me, and now I can say, if done right, that they are quite delicious.
So without further ado, I'm going to crack
on and tell you how to make my
roast carrot and cumin dip with accompanying breadsticks... two recipes in one you lucky folk!

carrot sticks S: eggs, baked potatoes, beef & veggie stir - fry
I love
roasted carrots as a side dish (sometimes I eat a big bowl of them for a week straight) and I love avocados
on a romaine salad.
I just happen to have
carrots and avocado and home right now and will be making this for dinner; I wonder if I could
roast my
carrots on the BBQ?
Of course,
roasting time will vary depending
on the thickness of your
carrots.
Finish the salad: Once the
carrots are
roasted, arrange them
on a serving platter with slices of avocado
on top.
5 In a tray put some greaseproof paper, pour the potatoes,
carrots and cauliflower, then add three tablespoons of olive oil
on top, the juice of the lime, add the herbs de Provence and some rosemary, let
roasting for 15 minutes or so, until the veggies are golden.
Roasted carrots is my other big fave — I coat them with olive oil and salt and just a smidge of honey or agave nectar, and then blast them with heat so they're kind of blackened
on the outside, and softer in the middle.
So, prepare yourself for fall and fill up
on this delicious, healthy meal of
Roasted Carrots & Creamy Quinoa!
Place the
roasted carrots and parsnips
on plates, arrange the sliced pork and sautéed kale
on the side, add a dollop of applesauce, and serve warm.

I made extra of the spice mixture and rubbed it
on some tofu before pan-cooking, to go along with the
roasted vegetables (fingerling potatoes, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and
carrots).
What I had intended to do was toss the
carrots with olive oil and cumin, salt and pepper,
roast them until they were soft, but not overly brown (I might put them in a covered dish next time), put some avocado slices
on top and then squeeze fresh lemon juice over it.
We began with Betty and Bella styling a colorful crudités platter with
carrots, watermelon radish, and the most delicious
roasted beet hummus (I will never forget the taste of it), and began our first lesson
on creating movement in a dish.
I sprinkled this spice mix
on some
carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes and onions and
roasted in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Items needed for 2 bowls: 1/4 small purple cabbage, thinly sliced 6 radishes, thinly sliced 1
carrot, julienned 1/3 cup snap peas, sliced
on a bias Handful of micro greens Handful of cilantro and mint leaves — 1 cup Della Rice Basmati and Wild rice, cook as directed — Za'atar
roasted chickpeas — Lemon honey mint tahini sauce — 6 min eggs + dukkah spice mix
Place
carrots and potatoes
on the bottom of the crockpot and place pot
roast on top (salt and pepper if desired).

I'd been flipping through Modern Potluck the week prior, and was really attracted to the cover recipe for Spice -
Roasted Carrots Over Lentils, which seemed perfectly simple, and like a good accompaniment to the grilled pizza we were planning
on making in Woodstock.
I didn't have the requisite berries so I
roasted some fresh cranberries I had
on hand along with the
carrots.
In this recipe the Dukkah is generously sprinkled over
roasted summer
carrots and onions that rest
on a bed of herby quinoa with a creamy feta cheese and yogurt spread
on the side.
Arrange the oven
roasted carrots and onions
on top.
Place in oven and
roast them for about 30 to 40 minutes, depending
on how crisp or soft you like your
carrots, and how thick they are.
In the winter, I make «
roast» a lot —
roasted potatoes, onions, garlic,
carrots, mushrooms with sausage or something
on top, all cooked together for hours.
Serve the
roast on a platter with cooked
carrots.

on top of the veggies and

carrots, including the liquid
on the baking sheet.
Because if you don't have Brussels sprouts or if you don't like this green veggie, you can
roast another vegetable like sweet potato,
carrot, butternut squash, beets and so
on.
