Here's what happened to me when I jumped
on the smoothie bandwagon, which is something that happens to most people — you get a bunch of produce, you excitedly blend it up in your cheapo $ 30 unit that's never seen anything else besides protein powder, and you end up with a poorly blended watery salad that you have to chew down with each gulp.
Usually I just toss them in my granola, or throw
them on a smoothie bowl, add them into Dark Chocolate Energy Balls or use them to give my Vegan Almond Butter Cups a nice little crunch.
Nut milk can help cut down on the sweetness of your juice, and it may also offer additional impact
on the smoothie's nutrient profile!
I really enjoyed a variation
on this smoothie which involved substituting frozen strawberries for the mixed berries, orange juice for the pomegranate, and 1 T of sugar for the honey (only because I was out of the latter).
