on cussing is that I don't see it throughout the life, ministry or
teachings of Jesus or any of the disciples or really any man God uses in the word... What I do hear Him say is that we will be «judged by every careless word» and that's not legalism, that's red

The

teaches that Christ is a unique high priest, not to be succeeded, whose offering of himself
on the cross is sufficient offering, once and for all, for human sins (7.23 - 7; 10.11 - 12).
Morton Smith in The Secret Gospel: The Discovery and Interpretation of the Secret Gospel According to Mark (New York: Harper & Row, 1973) endeavors,
on the basis of a manuscript fragment believed to be a copy of a
letter from Clement of Alexandria, to prove that Jesus was a magician who
taught such a secret gospel.
And yet, the objection is frequently made, isn't it the case, once we have a firm and binding document — a genuine
letter of St. Paul or a decree of an ecumenical council — that we can simply rely
on the plain sense of the text to give us the
teaching we need?

on this site is to provide a brief reflection
on how St. Paul uses the word body in his
letters.
So surely a true shepherd needs to warn about dangerous directions (as every New Testament
letter does) and
teach the spiritual disciplines that will enable the kingdom within to take
on form in the person.

We suspect that
on the road to Damascus St. Paul found his rabbinic
teaching was perfectly fulfilled in his overwhelming vision of Christ as the Lord of Creation, Salvation and Redemption which he was to proclaim later in his
letters to the Colossians and the Ephesians.
R.Moloney comments thus
on its origins: «While it is disputed to what extent this notion is scriptural, it is certainly patristic
teaching, for instance Gregory of Nazianzen,
Letter 171 (PG 37, 280).»
