The first time I made the recipe, I knew that I could cut back
on the coconut sugar by 1/4 cup and no one would know.
I actually completely forgot about the sugar, which is okay since I couldn't bring myself to spend the money
on coconut sugar and was just going to use brown sugar anyway.

I used honey instead of agave, and
coconut palm
sugar for half of the dates (I only had about 7 dates
