In a small saucepan, heat the

on low heat for about 3 - 5 minutes.
I think my Mum's favorite recipe
on the blog is this
lemon cheesecake with
blueberry compote.
My daughter made a
lemon curd for a different recipe and used the left over
on the waffles and it was so delicious along with the fresh
blueberries in the waffles I will be making these over and over.
The mingling of fresh
lemon juice and triple sec sweetened with blackberry or
blueberry syrup, accented with a spoonful of orange marmalade, makes for an elegant and interesting build
on the classic martini.
A full 2 cups of
blueberries are then sprinkled
on top to be baked into a
blueberry lemon oatmeal bite of perfection.

I have tried two expirimentations / substitutions
on this recipe and it hasnt turned out too well...;)(one was
blueberry scones and the other attempt was
lemon scones) I think a fruitier scone must need some different context but Im obviously not the expiramental guru!
2 cups fresh

lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon fresh orange zest, plus extra julienned for garnish, if desired (or you could use a sprig of fresh mint) 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 4 teaspoons brown sugar Canola oil cooking spray 2/3 cup raw almonds (I used 1/3 cup almonds and 1/3 cup pecans, and walnuts would also work) 1/2 cup packed pitted dates 1 1/2 teaspoons water Sprinkle of cinnamon for tartlets and
on fruit, just before serving Whipped cream, optional

Blueberry Pound Cake with
Lemon Glaze
Slightly crisp
on the outside and nice and crumbly inside, with pockets of
blueberries, and a sweet and tangy
lemon «glaze.»
Try serving our
Lemon Blueberry Cake
on top of a paper doily, and garnish with
lemon slices, fresh
blueberries, or a quick sugar glaze made from a few drops of orange juice and confectioner's sugar.
Unless you have a very hot kitchen or you leave in a very humid climate, you can keep the
lemon blueberry cake
on the counter, well covered for 3 - 4 days.
The
lemon pairs nicely with the
blueberries, and the turmeric is just an extra twist — it's slightly bitter, but I love putting it
on things just because it's so healthy and the color makes me happy.
Scone ingredients • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk • 1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons gluten free rolled oats • 1 1/2 cups 1 to 1 Gluten - Free Flour Blend • 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon coconut sugar, plus more for sprinkling
on top • 2 teaspoons baking powder • pinch of sea salt • zest of 2 organic
lemons, divided • 1/4 cup neutral coconut oil — scoopable, at room temperature • 1/2 cup pistachios — chopped, plus more for garnish • 1 1/2 cup fresh or frozen (not thawed)
blueberries • 1/4 cup aquafaba (water from a can of chickpeas or other beans) • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for the glaze • 1/4 cup cashew butter • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric — for colour • juice of 1
lemon
Add more fresh
blueberries on top (sprinkled with a pinch of
lemon sugar), and serve.
I have a
blueberry lemon loaf sitting in my photo program this very moment, but have debated putting it up because I forgot to add the baking powder and it's flat
on top..
A great looking and tasting drink is sweet iced tea with
lemon wedges and
blueberries floating
on top,
lemon and strawberries work well too!
