Or is it only good
on top of chalk paint?
I would test it out first right
on top of the chalk paint to see how it absorbs.
You could make it glossy too if you used a Polycrylic on top — I've done that too
on top of chalk paint and it works just fine.

on top of chalk paint, transforms the paint into a matte finish.
I've bought Crystal Clear to go
on top of chalk painted chairs but would the one you suggest be better?

chalk paint on the lids because it dries super fast and then I added some twine around the
tops of the jars.
And the dresser looked so good that I actually didn't
paint another coat
of chalk paint on top, I just left it as is!
Since you used

of the table, could you ideally just strip the
top where you used the driftwood treatment and rough up the finish where the
chalk paint was used prior to
painting?

She stained the
top with minwax dark walnut and then she made her own
chalk paint using three different colors
of old turquoise
paint she had
on hand.
I wipe it
on top of the dry
chalk paint coat and move it around and wipe most
of it off.
