A stubbornly low market
price and the growing focus
on renewables have WA's fledgling
uranium sector
on the ropes.
The pressure
on the Australian Labor Party at a state and federal level to allow expanded
uranium mining is building as fast as the
uranium price is rising and new explorers are pouring into the market.
This good news hasn't translated into higher
uranium share
prices, however, as the industry continues to choke
on excess supply as I

price spike; I am just suspecting that the
price of
uranium ultimately will substantially outstrip the total production costs, which exceed US $ 60, including cost of capital
on a global basis.
That lower baseline energy demand as well as marginal increases in supplies has led to lower global oil and gas

Uranium stocks regardless of their
price or volumes.

uranium major Cameco is settling into a more relaxed pace of business as it rides out the
uranium price doldrums, with two of its best assets languishing
on care and maintenance.

uranium prices doubled or more, the impact
on electricity
prices would be minimal.
