OR, they go all out on a saturated fat binge fest
on the wrong food that contain some carbs, and then blame the fruit they had on their icecream, because their bodies gained more weight (it's still in starvation mode).

Even if we can not know the answer to all of society's ills, even if we can not pretend to know how to solve the problems of crime and drugs and inflation and poverty, we can still proclaim that it is obviously and unquestionably a moral
wrong to maintain a penal system based
on vengeance instead of rehabilitation; to allow human rights violations to go unchallenged (
on either side of the iron curtain); to waste vast quantities of
food and resources while others are malnourished and sick and poor; or to allow so many children in our own midst to go through childhood unwanted and unloved and even abused.
I so appreciate this blog post, I was going through a difficult time when I first started eating healthy and was very hard
on myself if I «broke the rules» I agree there isn't a right or
wrong, you should enjoy you're
food and be happy in yourself Xxx
Don't get me
wrong, I love veggies and veggie smoothies — But shining light
on other «super
foods» that are in the fruit family should encourage more people to make those health lifestyle changes!
I keep reaching for the
wrong things to snack

And if you don't deny it, then why discredit the fact that
food, the very substance that all humans need in order to keep organs functioning, blood pumping, toxins dispelling, cells forming, could be causing severe effects
on our health if the

Quick question
on this one though - I made it in a
food processor and added a little extra cacao, and suddenly it seized up
on me and became thick and kind of gritty, with the coconut oil separating from the mixture... what did I do
wrong??? Granted, it still tasted pretty darn delish as the clumps were basically honey and cacao, but still...??? Thanks!

The context in Australia is certainly different to that of the US, but as the Four Corners expose
on the pay and conditions for itinerant farm workers here demonstrated, we are not innocent of treating workers unfairly, and the
food movement must work in solidarity to remedy these
wrongs.

I get it that JO has brought more attention to the school

food chain — the cafeteria ladies, the local schools, the local nutrition director — for problems which are coming from the top — the criminally low Federal funding that forces schools to rely

food; the thicket of government regulation which must be followed no matter how senseless, and hoops which must be jumped through to get the pitifully low reimbursement; the lack of ongoing Federal funds to pay for equipment repair or kitchen renovation, forcing schools to rely
on preprocessed
food instead of scratch cooking, unless they can pass the hat locally to pay for a central kitchen to cook fresh meals.
A lot of them may have been raised
on the same type of
food and see nothing
wrong with it.
We believe that waste is
wrong, be it the waste of nutritious
food, productive minds, or charitable dollars spent
on unsustainable, redundant, and ineffective efforts.

wrong message and could encourage disordered eating behaviours and body image issues early

Don't get me
wrong, a hot dog generally makes it's way
on our campouts (we love cooking those
on sticks), but I also wanted whole
foods to take the trip with us along with lots of veggies.
This inquiry undergirds most recent efforts to examine what we feed our kids in school, yet from Two Angry Moms to Jamie Oliver's School
Food Revolution, the focus has tended to be
on documenting what is
wrong with school lunch: the chicken nuggets, the greasy crackerbread pizza, the nacho cheeze products, and the mozzarella sticks.
But the experiment does make the point, I think, that for all the school
food improvements we've seen in our district (and I'm grateful for all of them, don't get me
wrong), there are still offerings that permit kids to make very poor selections
on the lunch line, selections that may well have an adverse impact

foods if available will take the place of healthy choices and give a
