Our local shelters can only find homes
for adoptable animals with some promise of socialization; for many cats born into the wild, this is not an option.
There are thousands or animal shelters and pet rescue centers that have countless numbers of
adoptable animals in their care.
Please note that due to the volume of animals coming and going from the shelter, often times there is a larger selection of
adoptable animals at the shelter than appears online.
We invite you to view

We exist to prevent animal suffering, to reduce animal overpopulation by promoting spaying and neutering, to educate the public about animal welfare, and to
place adoptable animals in loving homes.
We are a selective intake shelter, meaning we focus on saving as many
adoptable animals as possible.

many adoptable animals in shelters that are being euthanized simply because there isn't enough space.
Since rescue groups are almost wholly foster home based, with no adoption facility for
showcasing adoptable animals, we rely on adoption events to introduce the public to our animals needing permanent homes.

No - kill shelters and animal rescue groups aim to ensure that no healthy,
adoptable animal who needs their help is ever put down.
That said, rescues need a place where the public can
meet adoptable animals, learn about the adoption process, and get to know the folks who care for animals that need homes.
Animals in need were housed wherever space could be found and
adoptable animals lived in volunteer homes until a new home could be found.
We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for

Having a retail location with thousands of people passing by each day allows for the shelters to not only spread awareness, but to
connect adoptable animals with potential new parents.
