* still need to add knobs and pulls to our
salvaged kitchen cabs, but that side of the room is coming together, slowly but surely!
I'm about to paint my
parents kitchen cabs dark grey on the bottom and white on top (like your previous kitchen:) and do not want to use stainless steel, white or wooden hardware, so that leaves me with black or brass.
As someone who hates Oak (and whose hubby paints and faux

One thing we did wrong was that we showed it before

I painted
my kitchen cabs a Benj.
In fact, that's what I painted
my kitchen cabs.
After samples arrived though, the color just didn't work for
our kitchen cabs (also from Ikea, also scored on the kitchen event).
In my current home my island is built in (same cabinetry as
the kitchen cabs) but in my previous homes I've had free standing.
My kitchen cabs are painted swiss coffee.
But, I'm seriously thinking of painting them a soft white color (the same as
my kitchen cabs).
Painting
the kitchen cab's is such a rewarding project.
It has taken me 3 years but I finally convinced my husband to let me paint
my kitchen cabs.
