During this four day program you'll take part in some class room study sessions, training dives in our purpose built pool and you'll make four
open water dives in the ocean.
Note: Because of its extra degree of difficulty and risk, divers need special equipment and extra training beyond that required
for open water dives.
A PADI five - star dive center is located in the resort and is ready to help guests of all experience levels with everything from snorkeling to
open water dive courses.
While the prices are all rather similar, we've gathered the rough prices of the dive schools to give you an overall view of how much
open water dive certifications cost.
Once you learn the basic diving exercises you will be taken to a reef where you will experiment your
first open water dive.
Certification requires the completion of several skills to be performed during three
open water dives as well as the completion of a Knowledge Review following a Knowledge Presentation and Discussion session.
Do your classroom work and confined water dives at home, and then bring your referral to us to finish up your certification with the four
required open water dives.
Following a 15 - hour course of instruction, participants complete a number
of open water dives to obtain their certifications.
Certification requires the completion of several skills to be performed during
four open water dives as well as the completion of a Knowledge Review following a Knowledge Presentation and Discussion session.
Certified divers are allowed to rent or purchase scuba equipment as well as plan and
conduct open water dives independently within the limits of their training.
- The second day is a boat trip with two
separate open water dives and you may finish the theory in the afternoon or evening (up to you).
This course includes classroom sessions, and five
open water dives with deep diver and navigation being mandatory dives.
This course will consist of three parts: Knowledge development, water sessions at the dive centre and
open water dives in the ocean.
Our first morning I was able to do my confined dive for part of my certification and then we went out with the rest of the group for my
first open water dive.
Our scuba teachers offer in - class instruction and on - site testing, confined water practice in a shallow - water environment, and
four open water dive trips to conclude your certification.

All the basics of scuba diving through knowledge development, a set of scuba skills in confined / shallow open water that you'll use again
during open water dives, and an appreciation for the underwater world that will keep you coming back for more bottom time every chance you get!
Once we venture out to the first
open water dive site, you will be excited, but not nervous; you will be confident in your ability and extensive training.
Finally we spend a Saturday and Sunday morning up at
only open water dive resort in Georgia, the Dive Georgia Quarry.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Course consists of five more
open water dives which introduces exciting new areas of diving.
Four
open water dives where you review your skills and explore a different site of our beautiful St. Maarten underwater world each time!
Just head 45 minutes north from the heart of Atlanta and dive the only

For their
last open water dives they managed to visit the USAT Liberty shipwreck, the most famous dive site in Bali, and it was amazing with Bumphead parrotfishes, Barracudas, and giant sweetlips.
The schedule for your course is flexible depending on your needs but in general it starts with theory and skill sessions on the first two days, followed by the 4
open water dives over the last two days of the course, with 2 dives on each day.
We take as much time as needed to build confidence and good Buoyancy skills, and once ready for action we then have our 4
Open Water dives scattered around the 3 South Gili Islands.
Then, when you arrive in Belize we will complete the confine water dives and the 4
open water dive need to get you certified.
(Must be at least 18 years old, have logged a minimum of 40
open water dives prior to the course, have current training in CPR and be a PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent)
It includes a brief review of diving theory, practice of open water skills in the pool with an emphasis on safety, followed by a single
open water dive supervised by your PADI dive master or instructor.
You will make in total 4
real open water dives from shore or boat together with an instructor where you can enjoy the beauty of coral reefs in Bayahibe.
