I don't often have muesli these days, but I really enjoyed
this one with some yoghurt and berries one Saturday morning.
Not exact matches
I use a totally plain coconut
yoghurt, that tastes like greek
yoghurt — I'd say definitely find
one with no sweetener or flavourings, as I'm sure that would make the dish taste a bit funny!
This soup is a really easy way to use them,
with just six ingredients it's a perfect speedy supper, all you need is: parsnips, garlic, onion, cumin, almond milk and
yoghurt (I use a vegan - friendly coconut
one.)
This Lamb Kofta Curry (15) is
one of Angela from My Golden Pear's favourite midweek curries and I really like the fact the kofta mixture is so versatile and can be used as meatballs in an appetiser, served
with chutney or a
yoghurt dip, or moulded on to skewers and char - grill as a starter, or cooked in this curry sauce for a main meal.
Love it so much always got
one on the go, simply bake and slice up and keep in the freezer then defrost and eat warm
with yoghurt and a sprinkling of cinnamon.

The topping of vanilla infused
yoghurt mimics the New York style cheesecake
with it's sour cream, but while after a slice of a traditional cheesecake I usually feel like going to bed, this
one has none of that heaviness.
Place
one layer of
yoghurt in a glass cup followed by a layer of crunch, continue and then top
with fresh berries and coconut flakes
Shrikhand has always been
one of my favourite sweet dishes, a thick creamy
yoghurt with sugar, saffron and cardamom, often topped
with pomegranate and a mix of sliced nuts.
If the icing sounds like
one step too many for you though, feel free to leave it off — I assure you this slice tastes just as good un-iced (especially if you keep it on the slightly underdone side of baked) and eat it fresh out of the oven
with a dollop of coconut
yoghurt.
As a vegetarian, daal is
one of those essentials so it would be good to have the option of ordering a daal makhani that is rich in nutrients and protein but doesn't contain the unnecessary cream and butter, made possibly
with yoghurt instead, and a little lighter on the stomach.
You can eat this
with a dip made from the Maldizano and
yoghurt, or I would maybe pair it
with a club sandwich or grilled cheese like this
one I found at Yummy Tummy Aarthi.
The yog itself was just
one cm thick at the top
with the hard fat on top and the rest of it was jelly ike brown ish water... I'm used to a lot of water coming out of my milk
yoghurt but this was 80 %.
In the UK you can get low fat or no fat greek
yoghurt which is the only
one I usually cook
with?
I don't like to use anything
with more than
one ingredient in the ingredients list, but there are a couple of things that I've not quite got around to making from scratch yet, including tofu,
yoghurt and pasta.

yoghurt (I'm not usually a plain Greek yogurt fan but this
one is yuuuuum).
I'm not normally
one for getting cross-cultural
with my cooking (I've been known to get quite agitated about people serving sour cream
with tandoori chicken instead of
yoghurt, for example) but somehow this dish — which pairs red curry
with cous cous — works.
