For all the promise of the Switch it seems like the bets course right now is to wait and see,
at least until it has a heck of a lot more
games and its basic features (no
online at launch, no Virtual Console yet) are up and running properly.

game I bought for a series I like, Super Bomberman R. Without thoroughly getting to its faults with the control being a janky

online mode, decent but not amazing single - player mode, and the annoying unlock system that then doesn't award coins for local multi-player (the reason they know most people are buying the
game in the first place!)
If only the
online component had
launched in a slightly better state: network conditions are spotty
at best, and you'll frequently be kicked out of the
online lobbies you're automatically loaded in to when you boot up the
game (yes, even if you want to play single - player modes).
It's Nintendo's first attempt
at a a fully connected
online ecosystem across multiple devices and users will be able to sign up to it alongside the
launch of Nintendo's mobile
game.
At launch, it's a strong recommendation with the caveat that the
game is somewhat lacking in content right now — but by June, with trials mode, three extra characters, full
online lobbies and the full story mode, this
game should be killer.
