The plot twists are easy
to see coming, a contrived deus ex machina rescue attempt from Edith's Dr. Alan McMichael (Charlie Hunnam) is preposterous and hard
to believe — when intelligent
characters behave like fools, in this case charging into the lion's den armed
only with accusations, not weapons or anything useful — and the unnecessary inclusion of a twirling little papillon — seriously, such a superfluous Spielberg - like
addition to the story, a cute dog, stymies an atmosphere of fright in exchange for what exactly?
And they're not the
only new
additions, as David Adamthwaite, Daniel Bacon, Chris Gibbs, Adam Godley, Jonathan Holmes, Paul Moniz de Sa and Olafur Olafsson have all been hired
to join Mark Rylance's titular
character, Ruby Barnhill as young heroine Sophie and Bill Hader, who is playing one of the less charming giants.

only playable
characters in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U
to break the fourth wall in their trailer.

additions.

only appear when you're playing as them, so I'd recommend having them on the Toy Pad at all times in

characters you want
to use.
This personalisation is a very welcome
addition to the franchise — not
only providing an new
character, but one that is customisable depending on your preferred style of play.
Although the original didn't have an Earth - shatteringly new story, it displayed it with a much stronger cinematic presentation, and the
character addition of Rosalina provided not
only the series» most fleshed - out
character, but also brought a genuinely touching side - story
to the table.
The biggest creative improvement over the original, however, comes from the
addition of voice acting and the personality it lends
to the script: the laughs and nonverbal responses of the
characters are interpreted much more conversationally than are otherwise possible with text dialogs
only.
This adds
to a bit of replay value in
addition to simply going through the game with all five
characters, though you can switch
to other
characters (though
only ones you've rescued) in between the four stages.
