Arsenal aren't the
biggest spenders so perhaps won't go higher than # 70m, but in truth Madrid should perhaps take the

Chelsea
only slowed spending in recent years because they went totally ham in the years prior, they are stacked full of good youth (they sold a lot of quality young
players too) and Roman seems to have little appetite for overspending now but they still have
bigger resources than us and better facilities just like City a fact people gloss over and the result of the overspending on youth sees them recoup
money that they then use to spend whilst it looks like they are not spending (also got lucky with the price inflation directly after they went crazy on youth and the regularity of their China deals is sketchy at best.)
It really baffles me sometimes how fans like you portray Wenger and at the end I feel the day ya'all forget that Wenger is an employee of Arsenal and he's now
bigger than the club, yes he's a legend and he deserves a statue but at the same time that is Arsenal's downfall because Wenger has too much control over the club and he shouldn't be allowed to make some decisions on like
players to buy or the amount of
money to spend, he has to just focus on football and
only football alone.

I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a
big part of the problem... no other «
big» club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «
big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class
players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the
biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so
money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our
players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours...
only then can we purge this club and start anew
Not
only does the massive revenue that clubs in the Premier League receive make it harder for the Gunners to sign their

Arsenal have become way too obsessed with preaching rubbish about developing
players (Which we don't actually do) and not spending
money (Which everybody else does), blaming anything except the manager for our problems (Always the referee & officials) and not being pragmatic enough about winning the

only being interested in winning
big profits.
i would have thought if we are
only getting in c / h wenger will go quite
big in who it might be i have got my
money on a # 15 million +
player, to come in as we will need that price range of quality to come in to compete and maybe displace mert, or at least allow him to rest for a few games we do nt know who wengers talking to in the back ground but i am sure all the scouts have been busy and its just asking clubs for availability after that.

only reason why the

big money is involved.
The
only thing I said was that central midfield wasn't the

The reason we don't get the «
big names» anymore is that Arsene / Kroenke are not ambitious they have made us into a club to not be taken seriously,
players have lost respect you can see this in the ambition and desire they show on the pitch (barring sanchez) but he will go the same way under Arsene unless he doesn't leave before long and we fail to make the CL... Arsene / Kroenke
only see arsenal as a
money making machine - but you knew that already..
We lack ambition at Arsenal we are the

I can
only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a
big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn on their club, let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your
money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few
players coming in, the very culture of this club needs to be changed and that starts at the top... in order to change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power...
only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization... on an important side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned transfer window didn't have to do with the
big name
players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make
big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision
Only players that are consistent, and produce in the
big games, have a right to ask for such
money.
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have
only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the
only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are
only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that
player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special
players and certainly can't help make the
player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper
players in the final third... he was never a good defensive
player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find
money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a
player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a
big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand
players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could
only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've
only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that
only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those
players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
Lehmann isn't the
only person to have his say about Arsene Wenger's
big money move for Mustafi, after a spokesperson for FC Barcelona, ridiculed Wenger for spending such a high amount on a
player of Mustafi's quality.

my problem with AW is that for years he resisted to buy good
players because of a million or two difference from asking price today's market those
players are worth triple, we could of had a great team with possibly wining the EPL twice and possibly semis or final of CL, if he had just spent the
money in the bank, Chelsea are in dept around 850 Million pounds (possible the bulk to Abromovich) and same for Man - United and few more, we are the
only club that is cash rich with funds available around hidden 350 million and more accumulating every season, how i know this because i look at their end of year accounts outgoings and income there is around 100 to 120 million less outgoings then income, we can easily spend 700 Million in the summer and we will be well in with FFP rules and
only have 350m to pay in two years which we can with
bigger and higher sponsorship coming any day now
The thing that really bothers me is the thing we've disagreed on in the past and that's imo Wengers apparent lack of Urgency and decisiveness when moving into the transfer window I know that Scheweinsteiger would be a great addition but He is somewhat over the hill in comparison to the others that are being toted about and while I know that we are not the cash Rich Man Poo or Man Sh!tty or Chelski I do know that we are at a point for the first time in ten years where we don't need to replace many
players or are being frced to sell the quality ones we have, we are for the first time in a spot where we
only need to add two or three
players and we are there in terms of being able to compete, Id hate for the financial Exuberance to stop us taking that final stride forward into the competitive team we nearly are IMO spend the
money now, get the striker, get the DM and we wont need to look at transfers in a
big way again for several seasons and with that in mind Id rather have the likes of Benzema or Lacazetta or even Cavanni than a nearly over the hill Scheweinsteiger.
If the team lacks something, they will go all out and spend neccessary
big money on filling the voids, Wenger just doesn't do that and never will, every season after a transfer window we say, «Oh if
only we brought this
player in that position or that
player in this position, oh well maybe Wenger will do it next summer» but Wenger just always leaves a weakness that just never gets filled, he could have got Khedira, made a bid for Vidal or Carvalho, but no... Instead he puts his faith in a 32 - 33 year old slow Spaniard who
only knows how to pass and nothing else and a 30 year old Frenchman named Flamini who
only knows how to foul.
However my
only concern is the
player's disastrous injury record, which of course makes such an amount of
money, a
big risk for the Gunners.
In the January transfer window, the Reds were once again linked with a
big -
money move for the speedster but Virgil van Dijk was the
only player to sign for Liverpool, with his # 75 million move a world record fee for a defender.
This does not
only help the
bigger clubs to actually trim their squad and choose the best
players they can groom for the future, it also helps the smaller teams financially and not splash
money on
players who may not eventually prove their worth.
Simeone certainly seems to be an exceptional coach and motivator, and Atletico always seem to have plenty of
players that the
big European clubs want to buy, proving that it's not
only money that can bring the best
players to a club; a top quality scouting network can work wonders too.
People keep going about all the
money he has spent Thats rubbish add up the comings and goings he spent
only 300.000 Real Madrid took the micky out of him
big time selling Bale shirts before he had even signed Then they sell a
player to our
biggest rival (why did we not get him) where the partnership he had with them sorry mr Levey you got done.
Our demo was a
big help with that — on Steam nearly half our demo
players became buyers and our Kongregate purchase rate is also well above average (3.1 % to date), with
players frequently commenting that ours was the first or
only game on Kongregate they had spent
money on.
While it brings
only an average - length single
player shooter to the table, and graphics that fall short of the expectations laid out there by
big - budget, triple - A «Hollywood» titles, it asks for less
money in return.
