It seems to me, however, that this sort of protest, like the one
by Liverpool
fans last week, is the
only way to really get the club's attention.
Alexis, If you seriously think that, apart from the occasional exception, Arsenal are either motivated
by Wenger or self motivated, then you have been ignoring not
only the legendary soft underbelly we have had for about the last decade, which is universal accepted as the awful truth throughout the Prem world,
by our ex-players, other top ex player pundits and virtually all our own
fans too.
Another theory: When Wenger first arrived, (At his more successful period at the club), His
only job was to deal with his team and tactics, finding Gems etc, but as the year's went
by, he took on more responsibilities at the club (more work) taking the club to the next level, (financial wise) and maybe that could be the reason for his downfall in where it matters the most for the
fan's... On the pitch!
this club, under his tutelage, has ruffled a lot of feathers over the years and now it's coming home to roost... his arrogance has rubbed many the wrong way, but winning provided the perfect tonic to cure all ills... whether largely self - created or a byproduct of all the media attention, Wenger seemed to embrace his cult - like status, which would eventually be his downfall... he claimed that his club was different... more of an extended family than a footballing club and
only those with what he deemed as «special» qualities could even hope to join such an exclusive club... these «qualities» were hailed
by most, especially as the wins kept rolling in... but with exclusivity comes a certain amount of cockiness, which can be somewhat healthy in a highly competitive environment if it comes from a honest place... it wouldn't take long for the
fans to embrace their bespectacled former economics professor, going so far as to suggest he could do no wrong... but this fairy tale couldn't last forever

only way Wenger will be forced out of Arsenal is
by the
FANS if they kick up enough and put a strain on the money flowing into Arsenal.
Of course, the football economy is changing and transfer records are shattered left and right, but look
only as far as Liverpool and Manchester United as to why Arsene does nt splash teh cash There is a different superstar of the week every summer transfer window and I think it bothers

by the pressure and hype.

That is the reality at Arsenal and the
fans still singing «there is
only one Arsene Wenger» (I pity those fools and deluded
fans who still think that winning a game of football is
by having the most possession and not taking a shot... Soon they will believe they won the league
by finishing second, third or even fourth...), I applaud you.

only way the chavs would win anything was

as an addendum to my previous comment I'm not a wnger Hater I fully appreciate his magnificent acheivments over the years BUt it has to change as the results are really the
only yard stick
by which we as
fans can measure things and they are just NOT there last nights performance has sickend me and while the players are very much at fault the buck ultimately must stop with wenger and after him the board.
Corrupted club have accepted this footballing buffoon for last 5 years... And serious
fans could see he was past his sell
by date back then... as long as their pockets are appropriately greased... What is so shocking is that after this recent string of results most serious clubs would have called time on the man but apparently the ball is still in his court... Empty emirates is
only way to change this sad state of a once great club

Though I and most of us have already written this many times, I stress once again that the
only hope we have is to force,
by our own concerted
fan campaign, a clearout of all who claim, laughably, to be in a position of power at the club; Wenger, Gazidis and the whole rotten board and the scummy Kroenke (Texas ranch and all) must be cleared out and thrown away like the pile of dog poo they are.
A role of the dice is what's needed, if
only to give some genuine hope to a very patient set of
fans, we could drop out of top 4, absolutely... We could end up winning the league, but at least we would be making a statement
by saying that this isn't acceptable anymore!
(2) somewhat linked to the previous comment in that we never seem to be prepared to hit the ground running with our best potential lineup come opening day... it's become so common, in recent years, that many
fans actually hope we stumble a little in the first couple games just so it forces Wenger to bring in reinforcements... unfortunately this can be problematic, thus one of the most common phrases associated with Wenger, «panic buy»... this situation is also negatively impacted
by the ridiculous policy regarding players who played in the summer months... right now I'm watching the Super Cup and not a single player is unavailable to either manager, including Ronaldo, yet somehow we have a list of players half a mile long that haven't seen game - time so far this preseason... I can
only assume this is a reactionary policy created due to the multitude of injuries this club has faced over the years... just another sign of the fragility that permeates this club
Am I the
only one who suspects that giroud will flop, he went for 8games without scoring at the end of season, Wenger did not start Him at fa final later booyed

only an opinion, but one that is held
by an ever growing number of Arsenal

It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the
fans, he too was lied to
by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told
by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success
by acquiring players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the
only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
The
only reason wenger is still here is cause of MOST of us the
fans... don't realize we are part of the cycle.we perpetuate the cycle
by being comfortable in our need for security it's so sickening and pathetic to see and watch.
I get he's still
only 22 but if he was more openly criticized
by the
fans like Ozil was I bet you he would've progressed a lot quicker, all his best performances came after being benched for a period of time.
But as the snow weather condition is looking to improve significantly this week and if it didn't fall back to the previous bad weather condition before the international break, the Arsenal

Although Arsenal
fans are 99 % certain that the Gunners can not qualify for the Champions League
by finishing in the Top Four of the Premier League and our

Absolutely right there He won't go anywhere because he does what the board wants him to He delivers profit and very low risk and sets expectations at virtually zero so that's the
fans don't expect too m7ch and he doesn't have to deliver and the board don't need to spend Its a farce and more importantly a blatant con Every single
fan who puts even a penny into the club either through season tickets right the way down to buying a mug or a pen or a shirt is being robbed
by a board who care NOTHING for sporting glory and even less for the
fans who finance the club There SHOULD be mass walkouts on home games and protests at every turn but, there won't be because the demographic of
fans now is of a majority who are not true supporters but millennial who
only want to say they attend the ground every other week.
