and frankly we might deserve this fate because we've let it go on so long... Gazidis is the equivalent of a prison bitch, Kroenke is the destroyer of all sports teams he touches and their are way too many complacent fans who believe we are

@Bob Please don't sugar coat anything for us, We all know it's
only Arsenal and Arsene that TRY's to signed every good player
in the
world (Ronaldo, Messi, Ibra and so on) where as every other TOP
clubs don't TRY they just go out and BUY,
Mertz should never have been our captain
in the first place... who has ever heard of a team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get
world - class players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating
in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played
in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this
club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role
in the management structure of this
club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest
in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is
only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
Up front we have a few
world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player
in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than
in North London, but the
club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing
in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some
world - class skills as a front man, will
only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought
in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this
club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those
in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off

Chelsea's
only good signing is Fabregas, Diego Costa I think is overrated and a bit hot or cold from what I've seen, Costa could quite possibly flop,
in my opinion, he's not the definition of a «
World Class Striker» and as for Fellipe Luis, I haven't watched enough of him to make a judgement however if we bring
in one more marquee signing then I'll be convinced that we've had the best transfer window out of any other
club in the Premier League.

I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this
club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves
in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big»
club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major
club in England, Spain, France and Germany
in the last several years because those «big»
clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these
clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our
club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no
world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team
in the
world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those
in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours...
only then can we purge this
club and start anew
Not
only are the Gunners one of the wealthiest
clubs in the
world with a state of the art stadium
in the throbbing metropolis that is London, but we have a board that has proved itself to be one of the most patient and forgiving
in the game, while the rest of them seem ready top sack a manager at the drop of a hat.
it's time for this
club to put it's money where it's mouth is... no more half measures, no more settling, no more making money hand - over-fist with little to show for it, no more excuses and no more hiding behind the idea that this is «small»
club that can't compete with the «big boys»... the
only real difference between them and us is what the manager demands and what the owner is willing to give... we play
in the League with the richest tv contract
in Europe, we have one of the largest home venues with some of the highest ticket prices on the continent, we have several major corporate sponsors, we have one of the largest fan bases
in the
World whom purchase a ridiculous amount of merchandise, we rake
in coin on tour each and every preseason and we have banked countless millions from qualifying for and participating
in various competitions at home and abroad
Whilst the loss is disappointing, it
only shows there is one better
club in the
world.
Sanchez is
only asking for the going rate for someone of his ability, and you can not say that the offer is out of Arsenal's range when they're the fifth richest

it looks like no one is arguing for AW to stay anymore here on Justarsenal or anywhere else, the
only people who want AW to stay are retired opposition players turned pundits or guests on TV, no one can say we are not loyal because we had him for 21 years and worshiped him for at least 17 of those years and tolerated a further one or two more years but now its turning biter into him against supporters and he should stay loyal to his
club which made him a fortune and
world famous and like i said worshiped, if he is to be remembered
in a fond way he should kick the shi7 out of the board and leave
Like we are the
only club in the whole
world that can not replace the manager.
we have waited a long time for this
club to truly step up, which is a difficult ask... to do so properly they will need to overextend themselves and get well outside the comfort zone they have become accustomed to... at the very least they owe their fans, most of whom supported this franchise for at least the first 8 years of this 10 year plan, one real shot at the «promised» land... remember phase one was build and save, phase two was the fire sale of all our top players, phase three was supposed to be our metamorphosis, when we were literally told how we could compete with any
club in the
world and phase four appears to be rinse and repeat, under the guise that we just can't seem to find any players that are better than our current lot (can you even imagine the state of
world soccer if that were truly the case)... it's time for you Mr. Kroenke and Mr. Wenger to ask not what the fans can do for you, but what you two can do to make things right again for the fans... if you can't do this earnestly and honestly, simply move on before the
only thing left
in the cupboard are bitter memories and what could have beans?
Should this even be a topic?Giroud is a player of average quality always surrounded by good players.I just don't get. It's as if
only Arsenal fans rate him. This was a player who was bought to be the leading striker at Arsenal and after his years of failure which many deny he's now become a super sub?How laughable is that. From failure to super sub.If the so called
world class striker we're signing goes out with an injury for about five months who comes
in then.It seems to me people lack vision. Why is it always Giroud Giroud Giroud? After so many seasons people are still debating what souldn't even be debatable.I've lost count of the number of times he's been talked about here. This is the problem with our
club. It's just not ruthless. This is a player who should have been gone long ago but due to him being French he still gets the chances. We won't miss him when he goes and I'd like to see if he'd stand out
in a smaller
club.
Hopefully Sanchez will be professional and give 100 % as hes one of our
only few top class players but got ta say it sickens me how an Arsenal player could be distracted because a move to (Man City) fell through, yes they have all the money
in the
world and are ambitious but that
club has absolutely no history, I remember not so long ago they were playing
in division 2..
