The press release from 20th Century Fox
lists the
film as untitled, but it's presumably the
film known as The Post that we learned about just last month., since that's the
only movie the director has set up at Fox.
I probably missed a few, as I was
only able to see about 20 of the
films at the festival (which is not a lot, since it is possible to see nearly 40 over the festival's 8 days), but suffice it to say, if you're a canine lover, be wary of all the
films listed above.

films crop up endlessly on year - end
lists,
only to discover that they might be weeks, or even months away from seeing them.

You may have heard that Paddington 2 was not

film that could have ended up at the # 10 spot on this
list, but
only one of them has you coming back time and time again for a rewatch.
There are quite a few other very good movies (The Tai Chi Master, The Age Of Innocence, Menace II Society, Schindler's
List), but this year's
only got good
films into the 40s, whereas the next two years make it into the 50s.
When a
film has a cast
list that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, Rory Kinnear and Charles Dance, it's a bold move for THE IMITATION GAME to release a poster that shows
only one of them — and even though Cumberbatch has been included, the poster
only shows his back.
An avowed Dodger's fan wearing a Brian Urlacher jersey, Tom's confused West Coast / Midwest sports allegiances are
only the first of the
film's scattershot staccato continuity errors — sharing time with the sort of broad slapstick pratfalls (foot and nose violence, mainly, though Kutcher does score with a fine impression of Chris Farley) that define the kind of
film that
lists «Kid in the Bathroom» in its cast credits.
This has been on my must - see
list ever since it was announced, and that excitement has
only grown with each new reveal, from the casting of Chris Pratt in the lead role, to landing Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper to voice the movie's CGI characters, to the strong buzz emerging from early screenings that have pegged it as one of the studio's best
films to date.

film that is sort of like this one is The To Do
List which was written and directed by Maggie Carey.
When I asked the director of the horror
films «13 Sins» and «The Last Exorcism» whether he'd be interested in doing a Five Most
list for my website for Halloween, not
only did he say yes immediately, he also immediately -LSB-...]
There were several major studio
films like Fury, The Theory of Everything, Interstellar, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, and The Imitation Game which didn't meet expectations and
only made some Top 10
lists.
The
list of
films it could appear in has also gotten shorter, as there are
only a handful of Phase Three movies left before «Avengers: Infinity War» arrives in May 2018.
This event is truly my
only annual rendezvous with the cinema, so this
list is
only the best of the few
films I saw in 2014.

With Liman's latest
film, The Wall, about to arrive in theaters, I re-watched and ranked Liman's movies, which have a surprisingly consistent tendency to be both wildly entertaining and compellingly thoughtful.I should note that Getting In, Liman's first
film, which IMDB

only release, is genuinely tough to see these days and after a lengthy search, I wasn't able to find a decent copy on home video to screen for this piece.
While I haven't check my colleagues» sites, I am pretty sure that many of them have this
listed as one of their most anticipated
films, not
only the festival but of the year.

only film from the Final Destination franchise to be eligible for this
list, it's not the best of the franchise, but it featured some of the series» more memorable sequences, including a gymnastics routine that is a master class in playing with the audience's paranoia.
Like the Oscars, they
only allow a certain number of contenders from each country (2 or 3 in their case as opposed to Oscar's 1
film per country rule) but their long
list includes a lot of Oscar submissions from the past season.
Director Edgar Wright's new
film The World's End not
only landed on our
list of the most anticipated
films of the third quarter, but it's also one of my most anticipated
films of the year period.
«Silence» didn't make my
list of the Top 10
films of 2016, but
only because I didn't see it in time.

Not
only is Birdman (or The Virtue of Ignorance) arguably the best
film of Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's impressive filmography (from a
list that includes Amores Perros, 21 Grams, and Biutiful), it's one of the most invigorating and passionately rendered
films you could hope to see in this or any other year.
