This film is all the more unfortunate in that this is probably
the only franchise film we'll see this year, next year or the year after in which the star is a 74 - year - old woman.

Disney and Marvel obviously know what they're doing with superhero movies — they've brought some of the biggest
franchises to screen — however, at the same time, making every single
film need to fit inside the already established
franchise starts to limit the amount of creative license any one director can have on future characters as Marvel's Cinematic Universe

films have, in that kids going to see the

film takes off like they hope,
franchise is in the cards (and when isn't it for the lucrative field of animation?).

only thing for this reviewer were the fight scenes which crackle with realism, vigour and fluidity meaning there is none of the fast editing / shakycam technique that has become the signature style of Hollywood action
films since the success of the Bourne
franchise.

film's twisted universe there comes a twist which throws you completely off, as the script essentially points out that Hollywood is a corrupt and corrupting place where no real human values apply.
Chris Tucker is the cinematic equivalent of one of those celestial events that
only happens once every few years — he hasn't appeared in a
film since 2007's Rush Hour 3 and the Brett Ratner
franchise marked the three lone acting jobs he's taken since 1998.
So we don't have a ton to go off of when it comes to Passengers, but what I do know not
only piques my interest but gives me reason to believe this could be one of the most unique, interesting, and entertaining
films that comes out in 2016 — a year I continue to bemoan as already looking formulaic and

The trilogies original star Keanu Reeves said he'd be up to returning to the

film makers and writers i.e. the Wachowski's were to return, but that probably isn't happening so don't expect Reeves to be anywhere near this one.
