Why is every Arsenal fans keep complaining about this draw, one thing I know for sure is that, Wenger is a wounded lion don't think you can take him down so easily because of his injury we know is hard sometimes for any team to face Bacerlona in the peach but is 11

Many Arsenal fans have never forgiven Wenger for selling Robin Van Persie to Man United and basically handing them the League title in the last year of Alex Ferguson's reign, and the
only player to move between the
sides since then has been the arrival at the Emirates of Danny Welbeck, who has hardly set the League
on fire since his arrival.
Arsenal were already going into the match with problems, especially
on the creative
side of things, with Mesut Ozil's illness and Santi Cazorla's second ankle surgery keeping them out, so what possessed Wenger to drop our best and most dangerous attacking
player I can
only guess.
The stats show that Arsenal actually fashioned three clear cut chances to Chelsea's one and that we had
only one fewer shot
on target than their six, so it does support the idea that poor finishing cost us, but with Wenger talking about the creative
side as well I wonder if he had our two best
players, Ozil and Alexis, in mind.
As a result, it would surely require a
player to head out first to make space for Werner, but having spent so heavily
on their attack, it's
only logical that they address their issues at the other end of the pitch given that they possess the worst defensive record of the top seven Premier League
sides this season having conceded 36 goals in 27 games.
but, im ok with this vardy transfer... it shows us many things: 1) wenger is changing, something some of us have been demanding for a long time; 2) it shows that wenger is taking risks: think about it, he is buying a men for a not cheap price, knowing he could not getting anything after, with a future sell i mean... this is an act that shows wengers intentions to win something, the buy is not motivated by any financial or economic reason but
only for a «get the f epl once again» reason... this is an act that shows us hungry, even if we fail, we could said we try... first ever, we really try; 3) finally but very important... vardy is the kind of
player we need... he is a warrior, a fighter... he has character... look at how he celebrate his goals... full of energy... he, like alexis, can motivate the team when the things are not going in our way (something wenger cant do because of his age and because he has never been an active coach
on the pitch)... the vardy transfer, if it finish well, is a demostration of a change, and a good one... lets take care of winning things and do nt look the economic
side for once... vardy is a bit old, but we can give a chance to welbeck after maybe, or akpom... u are not thinking about the future when we talk about ibra... guys: u complain when wenger do nt spend or because he is always looking for the bargain when u are the guys who has to pay the very expensive tickets... u complain when wenger buy the always for the future guy... like morata... stop to complain for everything and be consequent with yourself... i would love auba, but it is not going to happen... lukaku is awesome but the asking price is stupid... lets try with vardy, give us the throphy..

With just one week to get something over the line, I would suggest we may have run out of targets, I believe AW is now waiting for one of the big boys (Real, Barca or Bayern) to go splash the cash

Let's face it goalkeepers tend to march to the beat of a different drum and Szczesny certainly fell into that category, but most of his antics were relatively harmless and simply reflected a certain level of immaturity that isn't uncommon for someone thrust into the limelight at such a young age... lord knows we've seen that happen with numerous
players throughout the years and very few were ever banished for such behaviour... the
only on - field action that drove me crazy was his inability to take a deep breath and not try to rush the play with an ill - timed throw at certain points in the game when common sense suggested holding the ball and slowing things down... the fact that he continued to do this probably had a lot to do with the glaring lack of coaching time spent with the goalkeepers... ultimately he made the fateful decision to take his frustrations out into the public sphere and paid dearly for it... in the end, his services were wanted by several of the best Italian squads, which is significant considering the historical importance placed
on the defensive
side of the ball in Serie A... all I know is that if someone asked me to pick the most athletically gifted goalkeeper we have had in our squad since the arrival of Wenger, without hesitation, he would be my pick and for that reason his departure is more than a little disappointing... what else is new though

CIES Football Observatory estimated the value of those who have moved

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self,
only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago...
on this current squad, we have
only 1 central defender
on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive
on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right
side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities
on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role
on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third...
on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily
on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so
only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are
on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay
on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen
on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this
side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
The
only rule is that the
players with the same number can't be
on the field at the same time, which usually means that teams have a
player on the offensive and defensive
side of the ball with the same.
When Bellerin first came into the
side he not
only defended well but was always so dangerous going forward. His pace and ability to go outside his marker gave us an attacking outlet that allowed us to play without a recognised right
sided attacker which coincided with Walcott getting less and less game time.We all thought this boy was going to turn into someone very special and so obviously did the management who apparently renewed his contract
on a reputed # 100k per week.What have we seen since then?A
player that seems as indecisive and under coached as the rest of the defenders at the club.A
player that has rarely delivered a performance that reflected his initial early form.A
player whose body language seems to display his displeasure at being at our club when Barcelona reputedly offered # 40m for him in the close season.
I honestly feel sorry for Hector Bellerin as he's the
only player playing
on the right hand
side, whether that's in attack or defense, but after his comments about the «true» fans who never criticize the club, I won't be too sad to see him leave.

The Blues eased to a Premier League title success in 2014/15 but Jose Mourinho is certainly not a manager who rests
on his laurels and a move for a
player of Witsel's obvious quality could
only boost the West London
side's push for Champions League honours.
I agree with you that AW has done some astounding things for the club, but he has also made some reall balls ups and week in week out it seems he is not able to offer up a tactical plan B or utilise key
players in key positions against the relevant
sides we play, (not starting with Rosicky and Walcott
on Saturday was one such instance) I realise that no team wins all their games and I know that we have been under the cosh for quiet a few years now, but what annoys me more than anything else is the lack of Visible ambition, we spent three weeks messing around with Beliek and
only just managed to get Paulista who was an uncertainty due to a work visa.
Yes this was a bad one, the kind of freak injury that leads not
only to the end of a career but also leaves fellow
players vomiting by the
side of the pitch (a surefire sign that something
on the field of play is a little amiss!).
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table... for me, a top
player has to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast
on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early
on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right -
side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has
only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary
players to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of
player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play,
only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
On Sunday I looked at the 2

I just want the fans to stick to their opinion and not change the

Next up for Arsenal is the trip north to take
on Hull City in the Premier League and not
only is it a must win ghame for the Gunners, I feel it is vital for us to put these stuttering performances behind us and start to show the sort of dominance that you expect from an Arsenal
side packed with talented and world class
players like Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
... the most infuriating part of this whole misadventure is that so far he has re-signed no one that truly matters to the future of this club and the
only players to be sold, if Perez gets his inevitable exit, were the two most talented
players on our bench (Schez & Perez) with the most up -
side for this club
I can
only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn
on their club, let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying
on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting
on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few
players coming in, the very culture of this club needs to be changed and that starts at the top... in order to change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power...
only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization...
on an important
side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned transfer window didn't have to do with the big name
players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision

This is the

While the stats don't appear promising for the Colombia international — no goals, no assists, just 0.7 shots per game, 0.5 key passes per game and
only 0.4 dribbles per game [via WhoScored]-- it's crucial to remember that this is a
player who arrived into a
side that was
on course for the Premier League title — an XI that Jose Mourinho wasn't eager to unsettle with a new signing.
The

As reported by the Mirror, Serie A
side Sampdoria are interested in making a move for the England man, however the club are
only willing to pay # 6M for the midfielder, with Arsenal unwilling to let the
player leave
on loan due to the short amount of time that is left
on his contract.
It may have taken the Bosnian international a few games to settle into his new career as an Arsenal
player, but it is
only pre-season and the new summer signing Sead Kolasinac really shook off the cobwebs today and put in a powerful and impressive performance for the Gunners
on the left
side of midfield.
Clearly a better
side than the present one — very good
players as they were, the
only ones I could possibly see having any pressure at all
on them by the present crop would be Lehmann (never totally convinced tbh — lucky to be behind that back 4), Toure and Ljungberg.
On the flip
side Sanchez and maybe Bellerin are the
only current Arsenal
players that could fetch that kind of cash.
jt — perhaps, but still a year later we went
on to have, in my mind at least, a
side fully capable and deserving of winning the league even after losing most of those massive
players (I think
only Toure and Lehmann were still there and I don't think Lehmann was clear 1st choice that year).
