If he could
only shoot Giroud wouldn't always have 3 to 4 defenders on him everytym, just think of it, wld defenders stay back nd wait if we had a pogba, erisken or countinho wid de ball abt 25 yards from goal???????
Not exact matches
Do nt get me wrong I rate
Giroud, he has his moment but he can not turn and
shoot, dribble or beat a defender,
only scores in the six yard box from a one touch flick or tap - in.
2
Giroud can not dribble, run or
shoot from outside the box 3 Ramsey can not pass beyond 6 yard 4 Walcott has
only pace and accuracy 5 Welbeck lacks composure in front of goal
obviously I would prefer to have a much more suitable alternative in the defensive midfielder positions but if they focused more on defensive end and the occasional long - ball, this would allow Bellerin and Sead ample opportunities to bomb forward on their respective wings while still having enough cover to maintain their defensive shape... it would likewise allow for overlapping runs on both wings, thereby letting both Sanchez and Perez to cut inside and get
shots away in and around the top of the box with their most dominant feet... if goals were needed I would sub Bellerin for OX and bring Ramsey in for Elneny then switch to a 3 -2-4-1 (more of a 3 -1-5-1 with Ramsey playing higher up the pitch) and I would
only use
Giroud as a sub when the game dictated it for tactical reasons... this would allow us to be a high energy team with incredible link - up play and a much more direct approach in the offensive end
our pathetic story about arsenal title contenders fade away in a month... and all those shitty players always come out and say how arsenal is fighting for the title (arteta,
giroud etc...) time for a new menager, one who will not speaking to the journalists how transfer window should
shot down earlier but he is the
only one trying to do something in the last day of the transfer window or he is pretending that he is doing something, but no... he flew to the france to be a pundit for france game... I am sick and tired of this man, can't stand it anymore...
The last teo games ozil even has mistake passes in the counter passing the ball too behind the target (sanchez yerterday, perez vs soton)... that is unacceptable for a player who his
only imput is his pass... cazorla in the cam position give us
shooting from outside and thats something we desperatly need... yersterday the coq was the
only one who try from outside the box... like always we were trying to put the ball in the net with the player... wenger is responsable for that, because his «arsenal way» and ozil is too becausehe is allways looking for the pass... yesterday i would send off ozil and the ox in the min 30... puting alexis on the wing, cazorla cam, xhaka cmand
giroud cf (we do nt have more)
0.89 goals scored per 90 mins for Janssen yet he has
only 1 % better
shot accuracy compared to
Giroud (
Giroud scored on average 0.59 goals per 90 mins).
Arsenal ll
only miss Elneny for AFCON which is hardly a miss n have planB in
Giroud's aerial prowess n Ramsey.Xhaka outside
shots.
For the record he was the
only decent sub to come on against Spurs, it's useless having 3/4 attacking players on when all they want to do is
shoot and make rash decisions, whereas
Giroud can make balls forward stick and bring our better players into play.
Arsenal are the
only side in the league averaging over 20
shots per game, in fact Ozil, Ramsey and Cazorla alone have created 60 chances, now of those 60 chances, it is
only probably the most difficult that has been converted, Olivier
Girouds fantastic Volley Vs Palace.
The entire team sucked... Monaco are 5th in the French league, IMO they were a bit lucky if
giroud had converted two of his chances it would have been a different story.if that
shot was not deflected by per we might have never conceded a goal, we were all over the place after that lucky goal.we sucked as a team and let's not point fingers,
only one middle finger to point and that would be to per.
This isn't like Alexis stepping in for
Giroud and taking Perez's
shot away from him, we tried Alexis here last season and are
only getting the rewards for it now.
wow are we sterile up top, goals need to come from defense again, ozil & cech were great, mert once again taking the brunt of bad comments meanwhile a clean sheet and did nothing wrong, open goal that was saved was kos out of position and monreal caught up the pitch too high,
giroud has great ball skills, issue is his position on the pitch, watched the match again focused on
giroud, he tends to camp behind the defender from the ball, this
only works when you have the quickness to break, he does nt, I have screen
shots where ozil is 25 yrds farther up the pitch then
giroud, thisis the problem, he is rendered useless unless ozil holds up, and thats not ozils strength, thus very few sog's from
giroud on the run, when
giroud gets lucky w space in front of the defender, he is lethal, but needs to get into that space,
They
only registered three more
shots on target in that game and when you consider that not one of
Giroud's attempts made their keeper work, while their opening goal came from a wicked deflection, you can see Wenger's point.
Because at home the
only time the Keeper was tested with a
shot on target was Sanchez stinger (which
Giroud then hit over the bar on the rebound from), Welbeck blocked
shot from Walcott, after Keeper comes out to intervene Walcott and the Chamberlain goal.
I think i did nt see the same match than monreal and mr wenger... we were extremly awefull in the first half, manu would score 3 with shrek... then we draw the game with a deflected
shot and the
only other clear
shot was one of
giroud (i did nt blame him because his control from a bad ozils pass was very good)... for me we werent even near to win the game and we were lucky to get a draw... very much to improve, we get our 3 spot, but the fact that wenger did nt even recognise our bad game worrie me
We can complain too much about the clinical side of the game from Arsenal this weekend, as the equalising goal headed in by Olivier
Giroud just before injury time came from our one and
only shot on target from the Premier League away game against Manchester United.
With one or possibly two more games remaining,
Giroud is in with a real
shot at winning the golden boot this summer, if
only he could replicate such form with Arsenal on a more consistent basis.
Ox - 5 horrible on the left, took too many
shots from outside his range (I so wish we had a couple attacking midfielders that could
shoot from outside the box with any consistency)... showed some composure when he moved back to the right side, especially when he took on the RB role once
Giroud came in for Holding... his versatility is great but
only if Wenger uses him on the right side
Xhaka, who I like, or at least I like the Xhaka who plays for the Swiss national squad, has shown to be in way over his head in the premiership... of course he showed late in the year that he can stretch the field with the long ball but our squad isn't really set - up for that style of play... most of his long passes are in the air not on the ground and our squad without
Giroud, which should have been sold the minute the transfer window officially opened, is one of the smallest in England... we need someone who can pick out the runs of our forwards in the lanes and who is fast enough to come forward into space without conceding his defensive responsibilities... we rarely see him
shoot or even be in a position on the field to do so, we rarely, if ever, see him used for set pieces and it appears that the
only person at the club who has ever coached him up when it comes to tackling is Coq, which explains his atrocious disciplinary record... maybe it's me but didn't you see him coming in and contributing more from an offensive perspective, with his killer left foot, than a deep - lying midfielder... if that wasn't the case we are the stupidest team alive for taking him over Kante
Arsenal upped the tempo, sending on Olivier
Giroud and Theo Walcott while Stoke withdrew Jese, and Lacazette rifled in a
shot,
only to turn and see a flag raised.
In the early stages of the match, Wilshere eased a pass through opposition's defense for in form striker Olivier
Giroud but the summer signing could
only drag the
shot wide.

After
Giroud heads it to Lacazette who
shoots wide Bellerin has to save a ball from the line after Cech could
only half stop the first effort after again a bad control from an Arsenal player.
For example, they lack physicality needed for EPL, apart from
Giroud; they lack height, again apart from
Giroud; they are inferior in terms of tactical discipline (note Ramsey, Konscielny, Paulista, Coq, the Ox); they are inferior in terms of
shooting accuracy (The
only exception is possibly Cazorla & may be, may be Elneny); they are inferior in terms of hunger to win games.
Hazard was causing all sorts of problems for Palace and thought he had made it 3 - 0 just before the break
only for an offside flag to go up after James Tomkins had somehow cleared a
Giroud shot moments earlier.
