In 1966, Redstone decided that, in order to bring discipline to her work, she would paintonly with 90 - and 45 - degree angles in gray, white and primary color acrylics.
She taught those who attended how to create a value scale as well as how to represent the basic qualities of value by painting a white ball with one light source by only using a dollop of whiteacrylicpaint and a dollop of black acrylicpaint.
