I've been making miso
butter a lot recently and it's wonderful served with roasted veggies, meat or simply smeared
onto a piece of
toast.
Try making your own almond milk, mixing different varieties of nuts into a trail mix, spreading a nut
butter onto some
toast or adding them to smoothies!
When I was in London I had ratatouille several times for breakfast, topped with a poached egg and spooned

No matter if you spread nut
butter onto freshly
toasted bread in the morning, like swirling it into piping hot porridge, eat it with bananas or apples as an afternoon snack or include a couple of tablespoons in a delicious dinner recipe, I could not image not have a variety of nut
butters as a staple in my kitchen cupboard.
Tipped
onto a couple of slices of thickly
buttered wheatmeal
toast, it looked delicious.
And don't forget that garlic
butter that is
toasted right
onto those buns!
This looks lovely and reminds me of one of the first dishes I ever made as a child, which was essentially mushrooms cooked with
butter and garlic until just tender and then spooned
onto fresh
toast.
To assemble: Spread some light
butter onto the
toasted waffles and top with the avocado mixture.
Using a pastry brush or spoon, sop up olive oil -
butter mixture and dab
onto toasts.
