I enjoy shopping solo, but if you can find a friend who appreciates
op shopping as much as you do, or is up for the bargain hunt, then invite them along.

I love
op shopping and thrifting, and putting outfits together from the amazing pieces you can find.
So that is where my love of
op shopping started, I was able to find styles, textures and colours I loved through «out of date» fashion both modern and vintage.
The Christmas tree has been packed away, toy boxes tidied and pre-loved toys sent off to
the op shop.
Not true
the op shop is full of books on vegan and vegetarian cooking, that means people are giving up on it.
That is impressive, I know I have had the odd piece from
the op shop that needed work.

I like checking out
op shops from time to time.
Where I live there aren't any shops dedicated to vintage, just
op shops which can be a hit or miss - hence the reason I love my repro.
Despite the MOUNDS of cheap trendy clothes readily available at every store you walk into and online, chosing to either support small local designers who make in Australia / USA / Britian / wherever or buy things from
op shops and second hand stores.
I also found a vintage Yves Saint Laurent Homme black tuxedo jacket in a country
op shop five years ago for $ 4 and wear it often.
Then the piles of clothes not bought at
op shops or just thrown out because they either didn't last longer than a wear, or arent trendy any more forms massive piles of rubbish.

In my spare time, I love to garden like a granny in my little inner city tropage «tropical cottage» garden, hang out with the Blokefolk, be bossed around by the Bunny Bros, read historical fiction and zombie novels, collect retro souvenir scarves, rescue vintage English bone china from
op shops, indulge my latte love and drink endless pots of tea.

The op shops and charity shops in Australia can really do with your donations right now, particularly for any coats, jumpers and blankets you have not been using.
Love the paisley, it's great that others donate / recycle the clothes and accessories via charity shops /
