Once you crack

While I do sometimes buy the
young Thai
coconuts at my local natural foods store and deal with the struggle that is
opening them, I generally find it is way easier to just
open a can of organic
coconut milk.

I must admit though that I'm not a fan of any of those prepackaged
coconut waters at the supermarket - they don't taste anywhere as nice as a fresh
young coconut cracked
open.
Activating and drying the nuts for the base was pretty fiddly without a dehydrator (and I'm not even sure very successful) and cracking
open a couple of
young coconuts to scoop out the flesh was a task in itself, especially if you don't have the special little
