It isn't a bias, it is the overwhelming
opinion of the people posting, that doesn't make it biased.
It's important to remember anything on the forum is
the opinion of the person posting only.

You can still go back and you can look on the Zillow blog and see
posts that I wrote, and Stan, who by this point had become our chief economist, wrote about how it was obvious, in our
opinion, that housing was going to crash and that it was built on the foundation
of sand and there was too much easy credit that had allowed
people to buy homes who really couldn't afford them.

I hope and pray that some biblical truth seeps into the hearts

posts here looking to justify themselves and their

The statistics are merely sets
of data measured in a specific context and at least the
person who
posted them had the respect to allow us to make our own interpretation rather than inserting his own

people can't understand what you're trying to say they will a) not read your
post; b) think you're an idiot; c) reject what you're trying to say, either because they misunderstand or because they automatically reject the

So for me to change it to calories per pancake when every
person makes them different would, in my
opinion, be even more confusing than
posting it per batch and letting each
person do the math depending on how many pancakes they get out

people seem to ignore a whole lot
of facts, and selectively censor any comments or
opinions that counter them, while accusing «men»
of trying to censor them when they
post something critical about an author's book on Goodreads or elsewhere.
When these
opinions are vented, expressed to their peers in
person via word -
of - mouth, or online in the form
of social media status updates, blog
posts, and (even more critically) as reviews on your actual sales page, it directly affects the overall conventional
opinion of your work, and whether or not a new buyer will make the decision to buy your work.
