for MLB right there on the roster?

its even more baffling when you consider there are other
options who have dome well
for their clubs all through the
season, the way Dier played last night just goes to show Wilshire is mot needed, we are not talking a proven world class
player here the types you can not afford not to take to big tournaments, we are talking a decent injury prone
player who os over hyped

Sorry mate, but I don't get your response... I acknowledge we have left footed
players and
players who can put in a shift there but what am saying is the team is not balanced, compare the
options on the right and on the left side
for the past
seasons.
do nt be surprised if we see song back on a loan would be the easiest midfield
option to get at short notice just to get him on loan
for a
season just to fill the gap i think wenger likes familiarity with some
players knowing the arsenal way would be an ok squad filler in case we have injury pile up at Christmas or new year period as you would expect would be an upgrade on kim kalstrom i think anyways and being at barca cant have done his skill set any harm maybe he learn to more defensive responsibility
A
player linked with United in the past, Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski could be back on the club's radar this summer, according to recent claims from the Daily Telegraph, which would surely be a good move

Yes, One is a hopeless whippet the other is a delusional whippet... the guy was is and always will b one of the most overrated
players in history of epl...» should have sold him two,
seasons ago and brought in griezman... An
option dismissed by the football experts on this site... Will only get peanuts
for him today as everyone has seen through the hype except our delusional French OAP...

Since the 1976 merger and before the WBA, the only
options for players like these were to play in Europe (and inevitably become lost or abandoned) or to go to the Continental Association, which is nothing but the old Eastern League (plus the Anchorage Northern Knights), basically a part - time, weekend endeavor, although the schedule includes some midweek games this
season.
giroud, lecoq, are gud backups to hve in the squad but not a first team
player for a team wanting to challenge
for epl.coq has got to improve slightly on the ball but off the ball he is gud.everyone knows about giroud and I don't think a gud striker is enough
for us.we need a very clinical guy not a guy who will be going through dry patches coz thats guaranteed from a gud striker.gibbs is tricky he is a gud
option to hve on the bench but if we scout someone younger and better than him then I think we can sell him
for both the clubs sake and himself coz he hasn't progressed as a
player.what I find shocking is bellerin back up is jenkinson worth a team challenging
for epl?I don't think so and we should find an able guy there than fool ourselves and next
season we pay
for mistakes again.
I swear AFC is fast becoming a joke... if we are not carrying
players who plays less than 10 matches in a
season due to all kinds of injuries then we are forever waiting
for some other
players to fulfill their potentials or we are holding on to
players well past prime or we are playing
players based on favoritism even when we have better
options on the bench....
I think, we already have enough
options in this position, because we all shout
for a 20 - 25 goal a striker... Last
season... And we got Sanchez... What is just 2 quality
players.
I agree mostly with what has been said, I do actually think that Lacazette is the cheaper and younger
option which will obviously prove vital
for Wenger and Aubamayang is a better
player maybe but when you consider he will disappear every other year to go and play in the ACON we would be losing our main striker
for an important part of the
season too often and that has to be a serious issue
for any team
People who say we do not need another dm know zero about football while coq has done a fantastic job he will not be able to play every game and of course is bound to pick up the odd injury flamini is simply not good enough to do the same job it is a must we sign another quality dm so we are covered in every position
for every occasion
for big games we could even play both and sacrifice one of the flair
players although i doubt wenger will do that the
options will be there sign a gk, dm and cf and we willbe serious tittle challengers next
season.
He is guaranteed $ 19.9 million from 2017 - 2019, per Cot's Contracts, and if his 2020 and 2021

This is the kind of article that highlights exactly what is wrong with this club as a whole... so the question you're asking is what
option would be less shitty... after the firestorm surrounding Wenger's contract last
season, which somehow led to his highly questionable re-upping
for 2 more years, things needed to dramatically change or the inevitable same old, same old was bound to occur... as of right now the bare minimum has occurred... we knew about Sead long before Wenger's renewal so that can't be considered a part of the «new world order»... so the only real changes are Lehman coming into the coaching staff, which could be positive but he's always been a Wenger lackey so the jury is still out, and the acquisition of Lacazette, who I really like as a
player but I question the reasoning behind his signing
If we make a bid
for one
player it does not mean we do nt want another
player... thats called common sense by keeping
options open
Players are made available or put in transfer requests at various times during the
season and
for many reasons... eg PSG buy neymar
for stupid money and so Barca noe have a huge pot to make bids
for people previously unavailable and so on... At times it seems as though some of you have never watched football before or a transfer window!!!
wenger apparently wants to check on fitness of his
players before looking
for options!!!! suggests he thihks he has the
players he needs to ensure we hold on to 3rd place which reflects his heightened ambition
for season ahead....
Wenger has achieved a huge amount
for the club and although some of it was set prior to his arrival and some of it was an extension of his initial success the fact that winds up most of the anti wenger fans is that the club IS spending money and IS trying to rebuild after a long time in the wilderness, but when it comes to the spending on
players its always the CHEAPER
option in the most important area's Chips Keswick Boasted a # 100» 000 000 war chest during last summers closed
season and stated that the club could buy any
player they wished (Apart from the worlds top
players at that point Messi) yet instead of spending the money in area's that needed drastic improvement Wenger opted
for the cheaper replacements and spent just over half of the money allocated.
However, talks
for the young Italian have not progressed, leading Poyet to consider other
options in attack, with Vargas looking like being one
player who could be available on loan this
season.
The guy is currently not a key
player for us but he's got the required quality to be a 2nd or 3rd
option just in case.We have to be smart in allowing him to go or not.Honestly speaking Arsenal's injury situation is more of a curse. He should be sent on loan next
season to a spanish team.He needs to go to a league which is not so physical.I believe he can excel over there. However, I still believe that Jack can be one of Arsenal's best
players in the future.Allowing him to go is still a wrong choice. We need to loan him to a spanish team.
It's the same old story with AW and the board and always the cheaper
option, despite the fact that we COULD actually challenge
for trophies next
season as other issues have now come into play, Wenger will say «well we would buy Suarez but he's not available, Benzema does not want to leave Real Madrid» ect ect ect, but these are always excuses after the event these
players would move if the right offer was made we could have got Higain two
seasons ago the attempts at getting Suarez were truly farcical AND Im not convinced that it wasn't done that way so as to make it look like we tried when really we had no intention of paying 40 million
for him.
He made a huge mistake vs Roma, perhaps he has learnt and hence the rotation, you can still say he priorities a smaller trophy to the cl, I mean we all heard shit about this squad, few believed in a cl title but he proved otherwise only to kill our hopes with stubbornness, at least he made many remember who we have and what can be done, so stop the hate and complaints, the board is not pleased with our football either but they know who they signed, let them sign better
players next
season and see if ev can be stubborn, soon he will be forced to use dembele more, the pressure from the board will come,
for now it is what it is and if he starts paulinho and gomes he simply used 2/3 of his
options for the double pivot role (we all know we can not play 433, it's madness) let us stop complaining and exercise patience.
this guy is not yet an epl level
player its so f ****** obvious to anyone other than wenger and a bunch of delusionals on this web site... farm him out to brentford see how he does maybe he will end up better than bendtner am not yet convinced but happy to be proved wrong... but we need more serious attack
options up front
for sure this
season to be serious contenders... thats a certainty
Lin is on a cheaper contract than Bledsoe, and also a shorter one
for whatever its worth (the 2018 - 19
season is a
player option).
arsenal have suffered recently from playing quality
players out of position... Sadly Monreal isn't quality and the belief that over a
season we have adequate back up with him as CB is just dumb beyond belief... this was a good win against an under strength competitor... but we need a DM and another striking
option for sure....
Due to this rising salary cap, the most logical move
for LeBron James is opting out of his current contract and signing a two - year deal with Cleveland including a
player option for the second
season.
But as I have said before I think
players stand more to benefit from having a good pre
season than to wait last minute
for transfers and a good amount of the
options that could improve our squad are gone.
Cissokho has now declared that he is very close to making the switch to Merseyside but insists the two sides are yet work out the structure of a deal with the Reds keen on loaning the
player for the
season with an
option to make it permanent at the end of the
season.
As
for Liverpool, Klopp will be content with the attacking
options at his disposal, with the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Danny Ings set
for big roles next
season, while there are a whole host of creative
players in place to feature behind them.
This will no doubt come as a major boost
for the Reds as they look to improve on their attacking
options for next
season, with
players like Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert failing to adequately replace the goals of Luis Suarez and the injury - prone Daniel Sturridge upfront.
Whilst Ronaldo will have turned 30 they are confident that the fact the experienced campaigner has largely steered clear of lengthy injuries and is supremely fit mean that they can happily hand the
player a four year contract worth around # 320k a week, with an
option for a fifth
season also included, which has been accepted «in principal» by agent Mendes.
There are some
players that need to have big
seasons this year - Oxlade Chamberlain, Wilshere, Ramsey, Welbeck... Unfortunately I don't really see a place
for Theo he done well towards end of last year but unless Wenger is thinking of using him as a back up striker to our No 1 striker there are better
options on the flanks.
Time
for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next
season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1
option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of
for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last
seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5
seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that
player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous
for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special
players and certainly can't help make the
player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order
for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper
players in the final third... he was never a good defensive
player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as
for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal
for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money
for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul...
for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a
player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand
players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid
for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up
for half the price he eventually went to Juve
for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those
players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness
for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
Selling him abroad this
season to me will be one of Wenger's best and most brave decisions ever. He'll get my respect tor that.Who says we can't win the league with another
player in his position?Have faith
for all is not lost. The Van Persie case ws very different since at that time we were not financially strong and couldn't replace having to settle
for second rate
players except Cazorla at that time.In this case we can actually replace him.I can still see Arsenal getting Lemar because we still have a lot of money
for transfers. If we can't get Lemar we should try other
options for there's always better.
We don't need Stirling and that's a fact we have Ox and if we keep him Walcott, the truth is we need a beast of a striker who will put 25 goals away a
season why waste money on
players we already have cover
for when we need another
option up front.
