I just love buckwheat flour lately as a more accessible, still totally gluten free
option than banana flour, which is my other favorite!

Since I am not a fan of
banana (like, at all), that pretty much narrowed down my
options to about 7 recipes to mix chocolate Shakeology with rather
than 30.
Bananas are a great
option as they are usually less expensive
than other fruits.
Unfortunately mangoes are often more expensive
than bananas but they are very filling so a great
option if you can find them in season or on offer.
While these choices are obviously better
than artificially flavored popcorn or trans - fat laden crackers, sometimes I feel that if these convenient «healthy»
options didn't exists, more people would be forced to slice up a
banana or whip up some zucchini bread when snack time rolled around.
Gluten - free baked goods with
bananas tend to retain a moist, dense character better
than options not
banana - based.
I also thought they had to be fairly healthy because they contained
banana and nuts and so they were a «better»
option than the rest.
Bananas with Nutella or other nut butters such as almond butter are also deliciously sweet
option, though a bit pricier
than good old peanut butter.
The avocado does make it nice and creamy, and is a lower sugar
option than using
banana.
Though you'll find greater calories in a
banana than most other fruits, they still are a healthy, nutritious snack
option.
