Adventure dungeons tend to be tied directly into the story, while Battle and Traversal tend to be
optional side tasks that yield decent loot.

When Final Fantasy XV works, however, it works very well: Lucis is a nicely crafted open world filled with
optional dungeons,
side - quests, and beautiful locations, and Noctis and his friends manage to make
tasks that may seem absolutely pointless (I'm looking at you, frog collecting quest) feel meaningful.
Unfortunately not as much effort was put in to the
optional side missions that has you completing the same
tasks over and over again.
The game's collectibles, strawberries, are tucked behind
optional platforming
tasks, and each world has «b -
side» levels that up the ante.
There are a large number of
optional tasks and
side missions, but eventually you get to move on to «Sector Zero» which has the tougher zombies and different architecture.
