The colors continue as you wade from white sand beaches into blue waters to discover the dazzling coral reefs that ring the island in garlands of
orange, purple and yellow sponges and
sea fans.
You will certainly be amazed with the color variations of the corals: beautiful brown pencil coral, purple
sea fans, bright
orange stag horn and Elk horn, finger coral, and yellow tube sponge and beautiful marine life that the corals attract.
Over the course of today you'll go to three different snorkelling sites on the Great Barrier Reef, where you'll see sights such as clownfish,
sea turtles, humphead Maori wrasse (an enormous, large - lipped fish that's very friendly), soft and hard corals in colours such as turquoise, neon pink, soft purple and bright
orange, schools of parrot fish, reef crabs, barracudas, painted lobsters, Gorgonian
fans, giant clams and maybe even a reef shark or two - don't worry, they're harmless.
Fusiliers, surgeonfish, trevally, rainbow runners, tuna, sweetlips, and bannerfish are here in large numbers racing over
sea fans, soft corals, and
orange elephant ear sponges.
