I used
organic whole wheat flour (despite the recommendation), let the dough sit at room temperature for about 8 hrs, and the
bread came out fine — albeit not as golden and airy as it appears in the picture.
All processed and refined foods such as white rice, quick cooking rice, farina, INSTANT oats, anything that says «quick and easy», factory made
breads, bagels, commercial breakfast cereals, crackers, pretzels, cakes, cupcakes, pies, doughnuts, pastries, waffles, pancakes, chips (including
organic corn or soy chips), anything that
comes in a box or package
It's not that all
breads are «bad,» but rather that any flour (
organic or not) is much higher - glycemic than its whole grain counterpart, regardless of whether it
comes from sprouted wheat, whole wheat, etc..
