But am unsure what exact ingredients to get for other recipes as I have been shopping around but not having any luck finding the right maple
syrup, vanilla or cacao powder and
date syrup... what type of maple
syrup shall I buy (is
organic ok to use?).
I did substiute the Almond milk for coconut milk and used
organic raw honey instead of
date syrup as i did nt have the other ingredients in.

If one wants a bit of sweetener one can add a bit of banana, or a couple of
dates ground up, or at most a bit of natural
organic local honey or maple

If you don't have pure,
organic maple
syrup on hand, you could experiment with using equal parts of unsweetened applesauce,
date syrup, a few more puréed
dates, or
organic brown rice
syrup (which is okay, but much harsher on blood sugar levels).
These bars are sweetened naturally, mainly with a small handful of
organic Medjool
dates and just a touch of pure,
organic maple
syrup (which is necessary to get the right texture to help them stick together).
You could also play around with
date syrup,
organic brown rice
syrup or
organic raw blue agave nectar since those three natural sweeteners have a similar consistency and texture as maple
syrup.
