Before the workout, we enjoyed the new Garden of Life SPORT Energy + Focus, which is an
organic,
plant - based pre-workout drink made with B12, coffeeberry, and a blend of vegetables like
kale, spinach, and beets.
The polyphenols and bioactive compounds found in
plants are no higher than in fruits such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, purple grapes, pomegranates and currants, vegetables such as purple cabbage,
kale,
organic tomatoes and dark orange carrots, and starches such as sweet potatoes, yams and taro (7).
I also
planted a few barrels with
organic lettuce and
kale and some with herbs.
