Lift is
an original dance piece by Kyle Marshall Choreography, produced in collaboration with Monique Martin, Director of Programming for Harlem Stage, as a response to the ten poster artworks created for AMPL!FY, currently on view in The Project Space.
My integrated co-teaching class consists of students with disabilities, or I should say, all abilities, and they work in heterogeneous groups to present their understandings through a variety of mediums: creating art pieces, choreographing
original dance pieces, presenting timelines, developing maps, conducting process dramas, and giving oral reports.

The band gets credit, too, for their several musical interludes during the course of the show, from an
original piece of music inspired by the DNA sequence for blue to the conclusion, when the audience was literally
dancing in the aisles to the band's account of «We Are Family» by Sister Sledge.
