Although SNK is mainly known for their in depth fighting games, that is not all they have done and this is proved by the selection of games in the pack. There is a wide array of genres from fighting to sports and the variety will please many a fan of the console. That said, the
original versions of the games would
probably work better than their emulated counterparts. In all of the games sound effects appeared to be on a half - second delay the first time they were heard, then fine for the remainder of the session. As an example, the first time you throw a grenade in Metal Slug, it will explode and just as the animation is finishing, you will hear the explosion. This problem is off — putting but easily forgettable once all of the sounds have loaded properly. The main exception here is Shock Troopers which actually freezes up momentarily when loading up a new sound which makes the game almost unplayable for the opening instances of each level.
Even Sonic Generations, which incorporated an entirety of fan favourite zones didn't include any levels from Sonic 3 across both
versions except for a token Big Arm boss fight from Launch Base Zone in the 3DS
version, although, it's quite clear that this is a part of the
original game that Jackson
probably didn't put his music to.
The result is a game that feels like a better
version of the
original Shank, a game that looks slightly better and a package that's
probably better than the
original if only just slightly.

Though
probably not the definitive Final Fantasy VI experience, this iOS
version succeeds in preserving the essence of the

Though some companies still support the Master System today, and companies like TecToy still promote the Master System and other classic Sega consoles with official Sega license, I can't remember the last time the NES still got that consideration today, but then Nintendo is quite strict with their licenses still,

version that appears up top of the results — before Bowie's
original, and even before the Nirvana Unplugged
version, which, to be honest,
probably formed an introduction to David Bowie for more of my generation than would be likely to admit it.
It

original version, but it provides evidence that not all re-releases are worth skipping.
